Can't fault the friendly and helpful nature of the staff here, who take a real personal interest in you and in making you comfortable.
Unfortunately perhaps, we arrived on a weekend, and this co-incided with many religious pilgrims to the area. Our room was impressively refurbished with nice touches, however was exceedingly small, with a large and comfortable bathroom. It was difficult to move around to open and close the shutters which were so necessary to control the sound of people in the courtyard below and the great summer heat.
It was one of the least inspiring breakfast buffets I have seen, although the coffee is good, and at odds with the quality of the attached restaurant which is exceptional.
Would I stay here again? Probably; although the nearby town of Norcia holds more attractions, if I were to stay in Cascia I would seek a quieter room.More
