Excellent food, big rooms, great breakfasts and excellant location with views of the sea. We found the B&B was well signposted and close to the next village. Would highly recommend the B&B to any of my friends.

Of all the B&B's we've stayed in in Ireland, we rate Berry Lodge as the best of the best! This B&B (which accepts the T&C vouchers) is renowned for its cooking school and restaurant, but its host (Rita Meade) was unexpectedly called away. Nevertheless, her surrogate, Marguerite, made our stay memorable in every respect. She gave us our choice of the five rooms, and each was large, beautifully appointed, and provided great views of the ocean and the countryside. As expected, the breakfast was wonderful. What we didn't expect was a great reception with tea and snacks served before a roaring peat fire, Marguerite making our dinner reservations at an excellent restaurant nearby, etc. The house itself is a wonderfully restored 1700's farmhouse that is as cozy as your grandmother's place. A great place to unwind and get away from the ratrace of Limerick, Killarney, or Dublin. We're already planning our next visit!
