I have eaten here on a few occasions recently and it is always so busy. In fact last sunday we tried to stop for lunch but people were queing almost out the door waiting for a table! We left and decided to go back for dinner. Food was lovely. Very well presented and service was excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pricewise it is a little on the expensive side. Our turkey & ham roast dinner was €13.95. But i would happily pay it again as it was very good. I feel the deserts are a little over priced at €5.50. We had the apple pie and the chocolate fudge cake. Both were served with smallest dollop of cream I have ever seen. Overall I really like this place and will go back again.

The Bramley Lodge restaurant, is just off the main road between Cork and Midleton heading in the Cobh direction, there is ample parking area, there are various meals available to suit all, the staff are execllent, and very clean.

I used to Bramley's pretty often as the food was delicious, really tasty home-cooked meals. In the past few months though they've down-sized the menu and don't have much in the way of specials so it's gotten pretty boring.

That said, there's a great feel to the place and the service is excellent, and on a summer's day it's a great place to go for lunch.

Nicely situated on the roadside but with ample off road parking. Tables are a bit close together. Service was friendly-rustic. Menu varied for the brisk lunch time trade. Really nice conservatory extension with a view. Enjoyed seafood chowder which was the real deal, with brown soda bread on the side. Not cheap but worth it.

Usually stop off here with the parents on the way back up from Cobh or Fota and always find it really nice. The food is of high quality, the chowder is delicious, creamy and chunky and I have always found the staff to be efficient and professional, despite what other reviewers have said here.
There is a nice little shop a the front of the restaurant in which you can buy some speciality ingredients you wont find in regular supermarkets. Perfect for a tasty lunch or even coffee and a cake on the way home.
