Just got back from a 3 night stay at the Dream castle. I have got to say that it was absolutely brilliant.
The hotel was very well kept and maid service was daily. The hotel was spotless. The only drawback was the breakfast. It got very busy of a morning and the food was often cold.
The whole disney thing is very expensive as you can imagine, we ate at Annettes and Cafe Mickey. The food was great at both places and we even got to watch the fireworks whilst having dinner in Cafe Mickey over the lake. It was really magical!! We had no problems at all with the shuttle bus. We never waited more than 5 minutes. After parades in the park the buses where busy but came more frequently to pick you up.
Our flight on the way home didnt leave till 11 at night. We asked to stay in the room a bit longer as check out was noon. We were told that we could but it would be an extra 10 euros an hour. We decided not to bother. The manager then said that we could stay till 2 o'clock at no extra charge.
Overall i would not hesitate to book the hotel again.

Myselt, husband and 6 yr old daughter have just returned from a 4 day visit to Eurodisney staying at The Drean Castle Hotel... Fantastic... Accomodation was super... Breakfast lovely but very busy with loads of excited kids.... but thats what Disney is all about after all... Disney itself was excellent with many rides and attractions to be seen... don't miss the disney parade itself... awsome... we had a fantastic time and the accomodation topped it off... would definetly recommend this hotel... one thing beware bus gets very busy 1st thing and when parks close but the buses are frequent so you don't have to wait too long before another comes along

We stayed here from Sunday to Friday in October and whilst I agree with other reviewers on the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms (excellent) the shuttle bus to the park was truly a nightmare. We waited 40 minutes one morning, from 10.10am 'til about 10.50am, before an empty bus turned up - and when your kids are excited about going to the parks this is a lifetime. Then the crush to get on was frantic and unruly. It was the same coming home at night, and yes, The Dreamcastle is the last stop after all the other three (cheaper) hotels in this area.I did a lot of research before we went and I have to say that given the time you are actually in your room, if I returned I would, without hesitation, stay at one of the Disney hotels which are all within walking distance, even if they may be a little more tired in terms of decor than the Dreamcastle.

Just a point about eating in Disney Village - the food in Mickey's Cafe was awful, but the characters do appear frequently throughout dinner, so please don't order the fillet steak and live in hope that it will be good - just choose the cheapest thing on the menu and enjoy the fun! The food in Annette's diner seemed to be freshly cooked at least and don't be put off if there's a queue, it goes down fairly qickly.

We still had a really fantastic time, but do please take heed of the above and stay close to the fun!

My husband, 5 year old and 2 year old stayed here for four nights from Sat 30 September.

We had a family room which had a king size bed and bunk beds which the children loved. The room was a little small but quite adequate for the amount of time we spent in it. A little more storage space would have been nice, as would tea/coffee facilities, but the fridge was useful and the room was nice and clean. The curtain along the side of the bunks was a good idea. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast buffet was good with a varied selection of hot and cold food. In the evenings they have a themed buffet with food from different countries. We tried it on the Saturday evening when it was Italian night and I wouldn't eat there in the evening again. The service was slow, the food was poor and not very good value for money.

The courtesy bus to Disney was fantastic. We never waited more than 5 minutes and were always able to get on. Travelling to and from the park each day with young children was one of the areas of our break which concerned me the most, but it was definately worth saving the extra £1000 it would have cost us to stay at the Disney Hotel. My son (5) loved the bend in the bus and my daughter (2) loved it because it was pink!

When we return we will definately stay here again - but eat meals in Disneyland.
