“Love, love, loved it!”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Came back from the Dream Castle yesterday (16/04/13) and loved it!

Check in was nice and fast, the customer service was brilliant! The staff spoke very good English and were very helpful. We went straight into Disney so kept our bags in a luggage room, there was lots of other people's luggage in there but we had no problems with regards to security.

The room was very nice, a good size, king sized bed and a small bunk bed for children (we didn't use this) the fridge was under the tv, we found this didn't get very cold but it was ok. There was plenty of tea, coffee and even hot chocolate which was nice. The l'occitane in the rooms was a lovely touch. The hand wash, shampoo and shower gel was already on the walls in large bottles. There was only one small bottle of conditioner and no body cream so my friend went to reception and they sent up a bag with lots of goodies in it which was great!

We took advantage of the use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi which was lovely! We sat in the jacuzzi for an hour talking and practically had to drag ourselves out, we would of loved a massage or treatment of some for but it was a bit out of our price range.

Sadly the food let the place down. The hot breakfast wasn't very nice, the beans were mushy and the sausages were like over cooked hot dogs (and not pleasant hot dogs!!) however there was cereal, toast and a good choice of continental foods. There was plenty of fruit drinks and hot drinks too which made up for the lack of beans on toast!!

Overall the hotel was fantastic and I'd certainly stay here again. We didn't have any meals in the hotel so can't comment.

We flew to CDG airport and got the TGV to Disneyland, we paid €45 each for a return and nobody came to check the tickets!!! We could of got the train for free! Never mind. We also got the train into Paris, if your planning on doing this to go site seeing research your stops for the metro!! The map doesn't tell you where the Main tourist attractions are until you get off at that stop.

I have stayed in new york hotel in our previous stays in disney. It was our first stay in dream castle. But I was really impressed. Rooms are spacious. And distance by bus is very close.it is a bit worn out though...but I guess its normal with all the turn over they have. Wasn't impressed with their toilets were not very clean and towels didn't smell very nice and were abit warn out.

We stayed here for the obvious reasons...Disneyland! We had no problems at check-in or room allocation. We requested a family room with bunkbeds, which is what we got. Rooms and bathroom are a good size.

It's a short bus ride from the hotel to the Disney Parks, which are regular throughout the day. Dream Castle is the last pick up so can get quite busy. We waited for the next bus if this was the case.

We had to queue the first morning for breakfast however it wasn't a long wait. Breakfast was very busy and of good quality.

The restaurant for an evening meal is very expensive however it was a refreshing change from the junk food at the parks.

We had a great time at this hotel and would recommend it.

I booked this hotel as part of a disney park break so expected it to be close etc to disney. However I thought that there may have been other places we could have walked to close by in order to eat or just stroll to. This was not the case and other than going to the parks on the shuttle bus there is nothing close by. You could go by taxi or a minibus to a shopping centre somewhere nearby or into Paris itself but it is disappointing that there isn't even a shop close enough to walk to to stock up on snacks for going to the parks. this means you have little choice but to pay the exorbitant prices for a very limited choice at the parks or eat dinner in the hotel which is pretty expensive for what is basically a buffet/self-service dinner.
The hotel itself is lovely and clean and we had nothing but helpfulness from all the staff we spoke to. The breakfasts were plentiful although on a couple of the days there were fairly lengthy queues to get in if you had waited till after 9am. Most people used breakfast to make up snacks for the parks because as I said the choices at disney are typically unhealthy and pricey and no-one seemed to bother about this.
The room we had was spacious enough but there wasn't a great deal of storage space for clothes - 1 small wardrobe but no drawers. The bathroom was very clean and fresh towels were put in every day. The best thing in the bathroom is the L'Occitane toiletries which are lovely.
We had dinner on one night whilst there and for a buffet, the food was well presented and for the most part quite hot. There was plenty choice also for the children but at 29 euros per adult and 11 per child it is fairly expensive.
All in all I would go back to this hotel, but with the benefit of hindsight I would go only for 2 nights as 4 was just a bit too much (even for the children).

We had checked trip advisor before booking and were hopeful from the comments we read. Check in at 4pm was a little slow (which we had read) because they had lost our booking, but when this was identified they not only apologised but upgraded us to their large suite with two bedrooms - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! The room itself was fantastic with small toiletries for personal use as well as large bottles of LOccitaine products. Beds and sofas were all comfy which is much needed after a long day on your feet.

Service in the bar and restaurant was good and staff were always friendly and fantastic with our children (6 and 7 years), even teaching them French! The quality of food was good and there was a large choice to satisfy our family's varied tastes. The selection of drinks in the bar was good also (they had mocktails too) and it was lovely to be able to sit here with the family after a tiring day at the Disney parks.

There was plenty of arcades and pool tables to keep the kids amused whilst waiting in the lobby. There are also two computers to use which was a great help too and a small gift shop that you could use rather than being subjected to all those inside Disney itself.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. We didn't go with high expectations of it being a four star, but were pleasantly surprised at what it had to offer. Would recommend without hesitation and we'd be sure to book it again. After having dinner at Inventions at Disneyland Hotel, I cannot imagine why you'd pay that much difference at all for just a name. Dream Castle was FANTASTIC!!

Check in was a little slow, staff being trained at the time so to be expected.

Staff were helpful when approached, everything was as it should.

Bedroom was ok but literally was just for sleeping as most of the time you were at the parks. Beds were comfy enough and sleeping was fine.

Breakfasts were as you would expect, cereals, toast, cold meats, dodgy sausages and boiled eggs etc, just not my cup of tea, but the family enjoyed them.

On the whole was fine.
