Great being almost on the doorstep to Disney. The free shuttle bus comes every ten mins. The hotel is good quality in a nice setting with woodland etc. Parking is free and plentiful. The rooms were very nice. Family room we had, had a bunk arrangement in our room which the kids loved. Good size room. We had showers at 8.30am and it was lukewarm which was very disappointing. Evening was better. Breakfast was pretty much as you would expect, but the meats, sausages and eggs are to be avoided. Not nice at all. All in all, a reasonable experience but the bathroom areas and food needs some attention!

Me and my family returned from a 3 night stay last week at the fantastic dream castle. We booked the break directly through disney so the park passes were included.

The hotel is as impressive inside as from the outside and is only a 5 mins away from disney entrance on the free courtesy number 54 bus. We found the room luxurious and spaceous with a huge double bed.

We will definately visit again if the price is right as could by pricey without a good deal.

Good points:

~ Clean and spacious rooms (although bathroom had a little mould) with a nice view

~ Easy and regular transfers to Disneyland (yes, buses are busy but hey - they're free and the journey is only about 3-5mins, so hardly worth complaining about !) or you can easily walk it, as we did

~ Breakfast is 7am until 11am, and whilst the quality of the food is mediocre you can have a nice lay in and still get the full selection of food

~ Price - we paid £351 for TWO double rooms for THREE nights! That's less than £60, per double room including breakfast, per night. That's a bargain!! We used otel.com for our booking.

~ Luggage store - on last day we left our luggage as we had a late return journey. We were given a key to a secure room to leave our cases in.

Bad points:

~ Prices. One bottle of beer in the bar after a day smiling at Mickey Mouse = SEVEN EUROS!!! One mojhito = ELEVEN EUROS! Bar is really nice but no wonder it's so quiet with prices like that. One game of pool = FOUR EUROS! There's just no need to charge such extortionate prices and it really impacted our trip

~ Environment at breakfast...it strongly resembles playtime at the zoo but perhaps this was just because we travelled without children..

The idea of booking was to treat my two daughters aged 10 & 6, the Hotel is very well situated to the Disney resort (10mins max) on shuttle bus. The bus does become very busy.
We stopped in a spacious room with contained two king-size beds, the bathroom and general deco were very well kept compared to other hotels that we have stayed in previously. The breakfast was satisfactory at best; cereal and continental breakfast ok but the attempt to cook sausage and scrambled egg was terrible.
The swimming pool was freezing and no towels provided unless you paid two euro each. Sauna was ok but steam room was luke warm at best. Changing rooms had no cubicles so my ten year old got changed in room. Overall the Hotel stay was pleasant with a few minor changes the Hotel would be perfect. Would stay there again for sure but will take own breakfast. Note for other married men “let your wife pack her hair dryer with the kitchen sink” as the one provided in room was very small and kept over heating (cutting out) which was my fault of course!!

Stayed with our 3 children, aged 8, 6 and 1, during half term.

Kids loved the bunk beds.

We only ate here for breakfast due to other reviews, we found breakfast to be more than adequate. A reasonable choice of food to suite most tastes.

Rooms were clean and spacious.

Pool was great for the kids, you need to time your visit as it is not very big.

We had the car and avoided using the shuttle service as it always seemed to be very busy.

Overall we had a great stay, it is well placed for the parks and the staff were very friendly and helpful, which is a big difference from our previous experience of staying in the Newport Bay Disney hotel.

We arrived on Wednesday 20th February for 2 nights. On arrival, our room wasn't ready and we had to wait a short while but it was eventually sorted. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was lovely, a big king size bed and bunk bed for our daughter who thought it was brilliant! We had a view over the gardens which was lovely. The room and bathroom were both nice and clean.

As we arrived about 3pm, we decided not to go into the park but spend the rest of the day at the hotel. We went for a swim in the pool and, yes, it is quite small but serves its purpose. Our daughter loved the slide! Be warned though, the water when we were there was cold, not 28 degrees as stated! It says in the room something about borrowing spa towels at 2 euros each for swimming, but we just took our towels from our room.

In the evening, we had dinner in the hotel. This is a buffet and as it was our first night at the hotel, the price was reduced from 29€ to 27€ for and adult and 11€ to 9€ for a child which is still expensive. We thought the food was very nice, lots of choice from hot meals to salads and a good selection of desserts. The drinks are really expensive, 8€ for a glass of wine and 7.50€ for an apple juice!

Breakfast was fine. A selection of cooked breakfast (sausages, scrambled egg, baked beans and sauté potatoes, all hot when we stayed), cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast, ham, cheese etc, etc. There were plenty of drinks machines to get tea and coffee. We had breakfast fairly early, about 8am, so perhaps it is busier later on in the morning.

The number 54 bus takes you to/from the park. It picks up from the park and stops at a Thomson hotel first (can't remember the name), then Hotel Kyriad, then Magic Circus and finally Dream Castle. The hotels are only minutes apart so it doesn't take long at all. When going to the park, Dream Castle is then obviously the last pick up, however we didn't have any problem getting on. Perhaps again it's because we went a bit earlier, about 8.30am.

All in all, we had a great time, it was really quiet and the beds were clean and comfortable!

Hotel VERY clean, internet absolutely rubbish. Hotel is last pick up for shuttle bus so getting on is almost impossible! Evening buffet meal a con, 30 Euros, food very tough, can't cut through most, drinks order taken once we had finished our food (suggest the Esso garage about half a mile away for snacks) - breakfast buffet, sausages were like a hot curry, scrambled eggs etc VERY cold - toast and friut etc good though! Only 2 drinks machines for the whole restaurant! However, staff I can't fault, happy to help at any time, pool fab, LOVE the size of the beds, VERY quiet at night, KID FRIENDLY - would go again but not eat at the hotel
