We went to Disneyland Paris (with our 3 children) end of October and stayed at the Dream Castle Hotel. We loved the hotel, the people working there are really willing to help and quickly. We asked for a baby bed at the reception and in less than 5 minutes they were knocking at our door with the bed. Friendly staff, very good breakfast (a lot better than expected), very nice lobby area for children, rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable, and bathrooms are also very clean bathrooms. We would certainly stay there again if we go to Disneyland Paris!!

I just came back from a two night stay in the Dream Castle Hotel with my sister and my nieces. All I can say is GREAT!!! I have stayed in many hotels and even in the Disneyland Hotel but we had really a wonderful stay for the price. It is not much longer bus ride from the Disney parc than the own Disney Hotels but the standard is much better than the Disney Hotels. The room was well decorated and the breakfast was much better because it is not such a fool running around.
I just loved it and I can suggest everyone to go to this hotel. My ciences just loved it also because there is a nice lovely swimming pool. I tryed it to see if there is a difference to the Disney Hotels and yes there is a HUUUUGE difference it is muuuuuch better and less expensive. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay we loved it.

I'll keep this relatively short due to the sheer volume of very good reviews about this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights over a very busy public holiday. Generally was very pleased with the hotel although as others say it's more of a 3 star family hotel so don't expect that "extra" level of customer service or quality.

My main tips would be to get the shuttle early to avoid the crowds, get to breakfast early as we went at 7:15 and had the whole place to ourselves whereas go at 8:30 and you'll have to queue to just get a table! Finally, consider buying some supplies from the Relay shop at the RER station which has a good selection, for example water is 95 cents compared to 3 euros from the hotel vending machines.

Pros: Nice breakfast with good choice but don't expect high quality, we had a double queen and it felt American sized which in Europe is a bonus, well themed hotel without being over the top, very nice gardens to rear and peaceful location, good choice of TV channels although only 1 English (BBC World)

Cons: Expensive dinner (use the Disney Village instead), shuttle bus overcrowded and sometimes didn't even stop at the Dream Castle due to filling up at the other 3 hotels so be prepared to wait and take this into consideration if arriving/departing with suitcases, room has a few marks on walls but due to being a family hotel you can't complain, more like a good 3 star than a 4 star.

If there isn't much of a price difference between this and the budget Disney hotels I'd probably go for onsite as the shuttles can be stressful at peak times (especially if you have a buggy) and the early park entry is a big advantage to get the big rides in before the crowds come (the average queues were 80 mins for most of the day). But, if like us, you find the price difference is significant then this is your best bet out of all the offsite hotels in my opinion and from all the reading of reviews I've done on here.

Room Tip: Ideally a high room overlooking the gardens would be nicest

There is no direct shuttle bus from Charles de Gaulle to this hotel. You need to catch a shuttle from your terminal to the Disney Bus at the airport terminal. The Disney Bus is €18 for adults and €15 for children. It takes you to the Disneyland Train station from where you have to catch the free transfer, bus 54, to the Dream Castle Hotel. This whole journey can take you up to 2 hours. If you have more than 4 in your group it is cheaper and quicker (30 min) to catch a taxi from the airport to the hotel (€80).

The hotel rooms are modern and clean and well equipped. The evening meal buffet is very limited and very expensive for what you get (€100 for 2 adults and 3 children). The Steakhouse or even Planet Hollywood at the Disney Village offer better value for money. Breakfast at the hotel was OK.

Had doubts about this hotel after reading reviews. but this hotel is just perfect - great size rooms , clean - friendly staff and have a truly disney feel to it. Swimming pool a bit small but is does its purpose. Breakfast was fine - loads of bread , pastries, cakes and the usual bacon eggs sausages. etc. We had half board and the meals were good , not alot of choose for our 4 year old but she managed to eat something and the desert menu was fab. load of cakes , pastries, chocolate fountain and sweeties, and the children were all given a little gift. The shuttle buses were great and run every ten mintues. Cant wait to go back.
