“good location for the theme parks”
Reviewed May 14, 2012

I travelled with 3 friends when visiting Paris and we wanted a hotel near the theme parks with transfers and decent rooms and this ticked all the boxes. Its great for people on a budget, a group of friends or a couple but the hotel does not have many facilities for children. The rooms were clean, the food was ok but the transfers and location was fab! Would stay again.

We stayed here for the 20th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris mainly attracted by the price. A room for 4 adults was €120 per night including breakfast. Regular free buses to the parks and a good hearty all you can eat breakfast. Selection of hot and cold items. Room was clean and tidy. Not overly spacious but as we spent most of our stay in the Parks it did the job perfectly. Tea and coffe making facilities, topped up each day. Reception staff were a little offish and it's beacuse of that they lose 1 star. We did not eat dinner in the hotel so cant comment on the quality there. Nicely laid out grounds with a pleasant ealk down to the manmade lake. For the value for money paid I would go back again.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room close to reception. They have patio doors that you can open and step rig...

Stayed here for two nights (Thursday and Friday) as part of a large group. The rooms were light, clean and comfortable however when we arrived there were tea making facilities but no kettle. This was swiftly rectified. On the second day we discovered that the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work but considering it was our last day we didn't bother to report this.

Our room was ground floor at the end of a block near the entrance and the metal stairs. Oh the stairs!! I barely slept a wink the two nights of our stay. The beds were comfy but the visitors to the hotel not considerate of their fellow guests. Suitcase were banged up and down the stairs at all hours. The worst being when a coach arrived at 2am! The people above us sounded like a herd of elephants had we been staying longer we would have asked to move.

Breakfast was ok but lacked variety. I'm a fussy eater so generally come prepared to go hungry when it comes to breakfast at hotels and there was no change here. I also did not appreciate having to go to breakfast at 7am!

Overall this is an average hotel with good transport links to the parks. I would stay here again but would be very picky about my room and wouldn't bother with breakfast.

Room Tip: Avoid a room by the stairs like the plague as you will get zero sleep. The friend that I shared with...

We stayed for 2 nights in May 2012. It is a good budget, base for going to Disneyland Paris. Although we paid for breakfast, the first morning there the queue was so long we decided to skip it. Looked at least 30 mins to get through the door. The tiles were broken on the bathroom floor and the kettle did not work, but we had the kettle replaced and the rest of the room was clean and tidy and comfortable. We also ate here one night and at 21 euros for adults it is much cheaper than Disney. The food was very nice, all you can eat buffet, but again basic. It did include soft drinks as well. After check-in, like other reviewers, we were told to find our room, but had difficulty and had to go back to reception and ask again.

The shuttle bus was frequent however there is a fantastic display at Disney at closing time - Disney Dreams, and of course then everyone piles out of Disney and the crush for the bus was unbearable. My son was terrified and crying, men were shouting and swearing and it was a very scary experience. I would suggest you get a taxi back to the hotel or wait a while before getting the shuttle bus, especially if you have small children. It was worse than the London tube in rush hour.

This hotel is a good value base for Disney. Only slept there as we were out at the parks all day and evenings. Room adequate with tea and coffee making facilities . Bed was a little creaky and uncomfortable but we managed as we only crashed out there after a busy day. Breakfast was nice however there was a massive queue on the first day, approx 20 minutes. We have previously stayed at the dream castle hotel which is much nicer . However on this occasion it was much more expensive so we opted for this one. It was good value for money and close to the park with the free shuttle bus .

I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are helpful though we were given a direction to are room and had to find it ourself!!! The rooms are dated and look like they are falling part!!the beds are awful!!!when they said breakfast is included they don't say you have to queue outside the canteen for 30 mins to get it,the breakfast is shocking and poor choices! Good links to Disney and the shuttle buses are very reliable!!I would recommend you don't stay here unless you are on a budget!!

Room Tip: Don't bother!!!!

We stayed here for one night before then staying on at Disney for 3 days. The hotel itself is nice, bright and clean and the rooms were very good with plenty of services on offer. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We ate at the buffet in the restaurant and it was slightly pricey at 21 euros per adult but there was lots of food, it was eat as much as you like and the kids ate free so all in I think it was good value. A meal in Disney is considerably more than this.

We stay on Kyriad's often in France and always recommend them. This one was a bit noisy at times, mainly because there were a lot of school kids staying at the hotel and they were up and messing about until very late. The air con was not working so the room was very stuffy and as we were on the ground floor we could not leave the french doors open - also the TV didn't work. This is quite rare for a Kyriad and to be fair we did not complain, had we have done so I am sure they would have fixed both for us.
