“Fun and nice hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2014

Me and my family (3½ year old girl, 6 years old boy) were at Explorers Hotel in 19-22 march.
We arrived early and i thought we had to wait for a room but it was ready when we got there.
Really nice room and quite clean. They were renovating in the other end of the hotel but it didn't bother. Hotel play areas were really nice and our kids really enjoyed it there. Breakfast was okey, and the buffet in the evening was really good. The only down thing in the hotel was that the restaurants was closed at daytime. They all opened at 6pm, except one little cafe that sold sandwiches. It would have been nice on the they for department to eat before we started our trip back home.
I recommend this hotel, as it is cheaper then the Disney hotels and there are lots to do there on rainy days.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and really only used it as a base camp for our trip to Disneyland.
We were impressed with the public parts of the hotel, lots for kids to do and see here, the buffet breakfast was perfectly good, wouldn't expect anything more.
The staff were very friendly towards us and our 2yr old daughter.
Thankfully we didn't have a problem with the hotel rule about the swim wear as I'd read about it in almost every review on here!
The room itself could have been cleaner especially the toilet, but it wasn't too bad.
Overall very good value for money and very close to Disneyland which is all we were looking for.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Explorers for two nights 17th-19th March, both aged 22.

There are far too many bad reviews on this hotel, it's not the Hiltons so I don't know what people expected.

Check in was very fast and easy considering we arrived at around 10pm, very friendly staff at the desk who would answer any questions you had. Check out was quick and problem free, just handed over our room cards and it was all done.

We had a standard room with shower sink and separate toilet, along with a tv, bed, sofa, electronic safe, hair drier and lots of storage space. What else could you need ?!
The bed was very comfy and we had constant hot water even at peek times (8-9am). Fresh towels and our room was tidied daily.

Breakfast was very relaxed, lots of ham, cheese, fruit salad. Selection of bread for toasting and croissants, choice of butter, jam or chocolate spread. There were a few different cereals (all Kellogg's) and fresh milk. Machines offering tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice or fresh water.
Everything was replenished constantly so there was always plenty .You have the option of paying an extra €4 for cooked breakfast.

The buses are supposed to be every 10-15 minutes but we never had to wait for a bus, they can get crammed and everyone acts as if it's every man for themselves . The bus takes you right next to the train station which is right next to the entrance to Disneyland, Disney studios & Disney village.

Only downside of the hotel is it's very expensive, 3.20€ for a small bottle of water, 8€ for a beer/cocktail, 10€ for a pizza, 4€ for a game of pool. But then it's around the same price if not more in the parks and Disney village .

All in all we had a very pleasant stay in the Explorers hotel!

booked into explorers hotel through booking.com. Thought it was going to be nice. At first glance it looked ok. Arrived at 1 pm and our room wasn't ready so we asked if there was anywhere in the hotel that we could get a drink or food as we had been travelling since 6.30am. we were informed that nowhere in the hotel opened until 5 pm. There was no shops near and they didn't even have a cigarette machine. If you wanted cigarettes you had to get a bus to the train station which only came every 25 mins. when we eventually got to the hotel room it consisted of a hard bed with cushions as pillows. There was no kettle but tea bags. the remote did not work. the bathroom looked like a dog had been washed in it and there were white stains on the couch and floor(i didn't dare ask what that was). We checked out straight away and told them it was filthy. They didn't want to refund us anything but after half an hr arguing they eventually gave us 1 night back but charged for a night.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to have a romantic weekend or anyone who has children who are vulnerable to sickness. Another problem we had for the men is swimming shorts are not allowed in the pool speedos have to be bought from the hotel. Its a complete money racket.

Room Tip: Do not book in this hotel if you want to be comfortable and clean

Stayed here as a family for 3 nights, family room great ,comfy beds and very clean.Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Ideal location with regular shuttle bus outside to Disney. Great pool for kids.
The shop at the train station just outside Disney was really handy for cheap snacks/drinks and wine to take back to the hotel. The hotel even supplied glasses and an ice bucket for us too!
When we return we would definitely stay here again for the price!

We stayed in the hotel for two nights and three days. It is a huge hotel with rooms catering to all the individual's needs. The breakfast has great variety to choose from but for few items like egg and sausages you have to pay extra (pretty disappointing as they don't cost much). Rest they had swimming pool and restaurants, but the timings were odd. The lift was a huge disappointment as the levels were confusing and no marking as to where what is located. Level 3 meant lobby floor but we entered the hotel (lobby) at ground level. Keep that in mind while you roam around the huge hotel (your kids will love it as so much space).

And pls DO remember the door shuts down automatically so keep your key card in hand or pocket always.

Rest room wise it was above average as enough space to keep your luggage and tea coffee maker available.

Washroom is adequate but I will recommend to carry your own toiletries as they have soap+ shampoo in one dispensing bottle.

We had fun as we were hardly in the hotel, sleep was peaceful as it is around total greenery.

Room Tip: Huge galleries to pass to reach your room so please ask for something near the lobby or lift.

this is the 4th time I've stayed here and can honestly say its great value for money; clean room, fresh comfy bed, great location and pool...what more can people want at this price?

people stay here for a stop point for the park not to be waited on hand and foot! cough up if you do!

drink pricese in Paris are expensive full stop!

I can't wait to go back!!!
