Reviewed February 6, 2013

We have recently returned from this hotel, family of four, 2 kids ages 5 and 8.
We had a crew room, which was ok, not the cleanest of rooms or spacious but we weren't in the room for much apart from sleeping.
The Hotels pool is great for kids, they loved it. The play area was also brilliant to keep them busy and happy whilst we chilled at the bar for an hour in the evenings.
The courtessy bus to the Disney parks and train station was about every 10 mins,
Ok, so the only negatives i have, the breakfast was sparce, BUT, we all ate, nobody went hungry. The rooms and general areas could be a bit cleaner.
HINTS and TIPS - Go to the train station before you enter the park and buy water, biscuits, drinks etc. MUCH cheaper, the parks are mega expensive!
Eating in the evenings, you can get the train to the shopping place near by, the restaurants there are cheaper and there is also a huge supermarket, costs about 3 euros return per adult on the train.
There is also a McDonalds near the Park entrance which is reasonable.
It's all fast food and fast food wherever you go, so prepare yourself for that.
Overall, we had a great stay, would reccomend this hotel for families and groups.

Room Tip: go on the 7th floor, bit quieter and lifts right in the lobby.

This hotel is a joke it's the worst hotel I've ever stayed in my life, so many points I could be here all night but ill give you a few, no Internet as advertised, staff rude, rooms dirty, breakfast disgusting, we had no hot water for the first two days of the stay which I complained maybe four times staff just laughed at me, asked for the manager too be told no manager was on and this was a Saturday night. I'm not one too complain but please stay away from this place! And please the manager from this hotel don't reply too this as you clearly do with all negative stories as you had plenty of time too answer my problems when I was at your hotel!

Positives of trip: clean pool, good play area, regular shuttle bus to park.
Negatives: There was no atmosphere in the hotel at all. Only for the single, out of the way Disney shop on the reception floor, you wouldn't know where you were. The lift/elevator layout was rediculous. The odd numbered floors have lifts beside reception, the even numbered floors have lifs on the other side of the building. Rooms sterile in design and decor, very basic and dull. In our room, the sink was blocked, the word "poo" was written on the toilet door in some spray, two floor tiles in bathroom were physically separate from the floor, beds were "made" in a rush + creases and lumps of lint on bed sheets + edges not tucked under etc, tops of curtains full of dust and webbing, and to top it all off my daughters shoes were stolen from the room. Reported all of the above apart from shoes to reception, and only the sink was fixed, the leathal floor tiles were left loose with sharp edges. Then reported the theft to reception, they checked with someone and nothing was handed in, they went to check some room and found nothing. That was it, no explanation, nothing.
First time in this hotel, previous nine years spent in Disney hotels with no issues, I won't be leaving the Disney hotels again. And just in case there's any dispute, I took photos of the tiles, toilet door, sink and curtains. I don't complain, but this was beyond anything I've ever encountered, it even drove me to sign up here and let people know what they may encounter.

Our family has stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions. Both times we were very happy with our accomodation. The food is also of a good standard. This is an ideal hotel if going to Disneyland but it is also only 45mins from the centre of Paris. We have also recommended this to other family members. almost forgot the pool is a winner with the kids!!

The Explorers hotel is great for kids and families, rooms pretty good for 3 star, nice and clean, no frills. Hotel has a great pool for youngsters and a soft play area and pirate ship near the restaurant for them to play in too. Food in the restaurant is decent, better than equivalent in the UK, breakfast was busy when we stayed just after new year. Free shuttle buses can get you to the parks and local train station, but they can be very busy at peak times. All in all I would happily return or recommend to family and friends.

Stayed here with my two boys, four - five days during spring /easter holiday 2009.

My boys really liked the hotel (11,13), and especially the pool area.
Also we liked the restaurant, very children friendly.., but of course hundreds of children.., so definately a hotel for families..

Great hotel for us while visiting Disney World Paris.
Shuttle bus to the Park, approx 10 min ride.

We arrived at the hotel 23th of December 2012 and we stayed 6 nights. My family consists of my husband and 7 - and 9-year-old girls. This was our first Christmas abroad. Our room was quite a distance from the front desk on the fifth floor, but that was not a problem. Christmas Eve dinner was a bit too noisy. I don't know whether it was because of the different culture and customs or something else. Maybe I was expecting a different atmosphere. Perhaps the atmospheric Christmas music, a peaceful Christmas meal, the less bright lighting. We wondered why the children's program included pop-music, not Christmas music.

Food at the buffet was just amazing every time and delicious. One time we ordered pizzas from Marco's pizza and ate it in our room. Yammy.

For breakfast we would have liked something "healthier", such as more vegetables: cucumber, sweet pepper, lettuce, tomato. We were wondering why the cheeses are sliced and diced. But when in Rome do as the Romans do. We ate a lot of baguettes and croissants ... maybe too much :)

Rooms were cleaned every day and we were happy with this as well.

Children's play area was nice and our girls enjoyed there every day. The swimming pool and pirate ship were just awesome.

We had two full days at Disneyland, and the shuttle bus was very convenient.

Overall, a very successful trip and a good hotel.
