We had booked a suite and arrived to find two adjoining hotel rooms with the connecting door open. This would have been fine had it all been thought through.
In order to turn the lights on as you go through the door you must put your room card in the slot. When you then move into the bedroom you are in the pitch black and have to fumble to find the key slot beside what would have been the front door of the adjoining room. If two people are sharing and the other has the second room card, you then have to try to find a credit card in your wallet in the dark to put into the slot to turn the lights on. It cannot be that hard to rewire the light switch or leave an additional card in the bedroom slot when guests check in.
The amenities also felt frugal to say the least. In our "suite" we had 2 bathrooms and 2 people sharing but only shampoo, shower gel or any other toiletries in one.
The pool is very nice and we very much enjoyed the service from all of the staff in the executive lounge.
Avoid the MJ bar at all costs. It is grim to say the least.
We found chicken bones on the floor, drinks arrived after a long wait in cracked classed and the decor is very grotty.More
