“Great for F3 buffs”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Having been one of group who pushed for this and other facilities to be built - it is a great place for F3 buffs to visit when here for the Macau Grand Prix

“No better time to visit than during Grand Prix weekend”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

A stop by the Grand Prix Museum (free entry) is always a great way to spend 30 minutes or so when visiting Macau and is there any better time to visit then during Grand Prix weekend? We stopped by during the midday race intermission last weekend and, as usual, just loved looking over these fantastic race cars. They are so photogenic and nice to see. It doesn’t hurt that this museum is free to visit but I often wonder if visiting this museum will ever grow old.

In addition to more recent cars that performed here in Macau, there are some historical cars that saw time on the Guia course as well as a couple classic streetcars. We love the nice Ford Model T. Interestingly, we found that the (free) Wifi Go was carrying a much stronger signal and was much faster than during past visits. This was a nice little discovery made during our last trip to the Grand Prix Museum.

In our opinion, the Grand Prix Museum is a top five museum and makes an easy inclusion on your to do/see list of attractions for Macau, even for those on the shortest of trips to the city. You can make your was here quite easily from the main ferry terminal, just 8-10 minute away. Also, you can visit the Wine Museum which is just across the hall way from the Grand Prix Museum, this is another good way to spend 30 minutes or so and enjoy a bit of wine tasting while in the city.

“Short Visit”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

Have a short visit at this museum a month after the Macau Grand Prix, it showed many exhibits and video archives about this historic event. But I think the venue is a little bit small, they should consider to move it to a bigger place which can accommodate more exhibits

“Quite eerie, yet somehow very satisfying...”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

Macao is quite surreal anyway, with the gargantuan casinos towering over historical structures and pleasant squares, so I really shouldn't have been surprised that this museum existed. First things first, this museum is all about cars, so if you are looking for anything more than that, then this is one place that you can maybe miss out on when you go to Macao. However, if you have a passion for cars, then you will most certainly be in heaven. One thing I found was the lack of people in the museum. In fact I was the only one there, apart from the numerous security guards! In a way, this makes the museum quite eerie, yet incredibly satisfying that you have all of those cars to yourself.....

Entrance is free and you can spend a good 30 minutes here. It's also a short 5-10 minute walk from the ferry terminal, so a nice place to stop in on your way back to Hong Kong or mainland China!
