You can learn a lot about the main business in ancient Macao - fishery. You will know about national holidays, myths, legends, Portuguese-Macao maritime experience exchange and recent Macao navigable changes.
Souvenirs and big aquariums at the exit.

We walked down to the museum from the historic centre (an interesting walk and not that far) and were delighted to find this new museum. The displays are really interesting and very well laid-out, it's a delightful place to visit for an hour or two and the area surrounding the museum (the temple and the big square) are a very interesting part of Macao -

Very educational and fun too. Illustrates Macau's maritime past in a fun way and there is plenty for kids to do and touch. If the weather is bad you could spend a few hours here. The temple is across the road so it's a two in one visit. Three in one if you go to the church on the hill which is close by.

Only visited this museum because we went to the Ah Ma Temple as it is only next door. Disappointing as it is too small and not enough exhibits on show.

Average. If you have limited time and are looking to prioritize where to go, I would give this place a pass.
