“I miss this place”

Nice place to take photo. Many nice Macau local food and products available here too. Nice restuarants and shopping. There is an old church and chinese temple nearby too.

“so crowded!”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

But expected, of course, since it is a major tourist attraction. The place was in full Chinese New Year gear when we visited, lots of nice lanterns and colorful exhibits. There were a lot of shops around, where you can actually sample the food before you buy. Good place to buy souvenirs and stuff you can bring home. This place is a must-see if you ever visit Macau.

“jump off point”

This is where you would start you stroll towards the ruins of St. Paul and other attractions. There are eateries, fashion stores and souvenir shops around.

“A mecca for shopping and tourist”
Reviewed January 23, 2014

Senado square is really an inviting place and one where I will visit every time I am in Macau. The variety of shops is amazing. It is one place where tourist can satisfy their shopaholic inclinations. The Macau Tourism board is located at the corner of Senado square and you may want to make this the first stop as they have an audio guide. However you need to return the audio guide before the stipulated time.

The guide provides great information as you walk around Senado square.

Try the Cha Chan Teng you find along the way as well.

“A taste of Macau's history”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

Ideal for shopping and buying stuff for family and friends. Not a lot of places to eat. Its nice to visit this place because of the old church structures and facade around Senado square.
