we just walked from Lisboa since we don't know what bus to hop on to. though it's a long walk, as long as you have water with you then you'll survive. you can just follow the throng of people walking as well and you won't get lost.

There are also several signage that you can follow to reach this place

Every traveller who's been to Macau would have stepped foot on this land . An interesting fact is that I find this place "touri-sized" and would like to think how would it be like , to walk on the very street in the city of Macau in the 80's & 90's . Some nice stores at the edges of the compound so do explore more on foot to find the gems . Much progress and change has been made .

The place is surrounded with lots of stores and food stalls. You can sit in the park and eat and chat with your love ones. :)

It is one of the four largest squares in Macau and this is the most visited square. And as Travel China Guide says, and I quote:

"In the early 1990s, the authority hired some Portuguese experts to pave the square with a wave-patterned mosaic of colored stones. From then on this area has become a popular place for cultural activities in Macau. The buildings around the Senado Square have a long history and have many western features, so they have been well protected by the authority and no one is allowed to alter the facades of these buildings."

There are shopping centers and traditional Chinese restaurants around the square. So you may just want to take some time in this area for picture taking. Nothing much to do here but enjoy the scenery and do your shopping.
