“Good pub in the Venetian, similar to McSorley in Soho, Hong Kong”

McSorley's Ale House (Venetian Hotel)

The McSorley's Ale House in the Venetian is more or less the same as the McSorley's found in Soho when visiting Hong Kong. Decent beer and wine list and they serve a decent range of pub and bar food, although we've not tried the food here.

Interestingly, as busy as the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel is these days, there are not many places to get a drink once inside. Other than the restaurants, you basically have three options and only one is outside the main casino area - that is McSorley's Ale House, located past the large Cafe Deco and not far from the Venetian Theatre area.

Overall, its a good option, a decent pub environment and nice place to stop for a beer. Other options in the Venetian are Bar Florian and the Belinni Lounge, which are both inside the main casino area.

On our daytrip over to Macao from HK we decided to eat here. The food and service was ok, but for the money we expected a lot more. And oh, watch out for the extra charges that are not mentioned anywhere. First time ever i've seen anyone charging for "condiments".

After a few trips to this chain in other locations as well as Macau, we walked in expecting the same amiable service, not so, this time, a surly individual greeted us, with very little grace. We sat for what in hunger and thirst terms felt like a century! We finally got a menu, but like a flash the deliverer disappeared. The glasses of wines we ordered eventually, took so long in coming, you would be forgiven for thinking that they would be over oxidised and worthy only of reducing to vinegar. The whole service experience was appalling, tainted by complacency and arrogance. The food when it arrived, to its credit was good, but what a shame the chefs are the only productive characters here!

It's actually in Macau, People's Republic of China, NOT in France(like it shows on Trip Advisor page) and its former of Portuguese Colony, located in The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel opens from 12noon to 1am, shop number 1038, next to Hotel Suite South Area or below The Cotai Strip.
You can easily visit this place, from The Macau Ferry, The Venetian provides free shuttle service (back and forward), you can't go wrong with this!.

It's such a nice ambiance, it's a full pub menu serving variety of pies, burgers, and fish and chips. This place has variety of drink list as well, from Draught to Ale selections.
Also you may want to check for the buffet which cost around 140HK Dollars. (1USD=HKD7.25 as of now/today)

It's just an average Tavern kind a style Restaurant. It's just an average taste of food as well tho. I tried the Chicken Masala, small portion and average taste, the fish and chip is great and the french fries are so good too. The burger is just okay and nothing special.
I observe that he girls waitress are so polite and awesome but not the bois, the bois waiters here are more rushing you, more aggresive, nasty, mannerless, ignorant and impolite.
But it's a great ambiance!!!...hey, it's good place to kill your time...and relax...

I have been a great of Mcsorley's at least dining here on a monthly basis or more. Recently, they have a price increase and menu changes. The quality of the meat is going down to the earth (stinky) and the fries quality is pretty moderate from fat fries to thin fries. This does not justify for the price increase at all. All the server is sort of new faces so service declined is expected. The only thing that stay is the McSorley beer otherwise it would be more critical. For this fries, I would rather go to Hark Rock for their signature burger which I consider the top now.
