The bed is comfortable.
we check in at 9pm and then leave the hotel on the next day 11am.
so just for sleeping only.
it is quite noisy, the 'bang' of next door or beneath/above us.
we have got upgrade but no view at all. ahead of us is the constrution work of a building.

Room Tip: quite expensive for a night stay, the services is average

This is the best customer service I had come across in Macau since in other restaurants/shops are not providing such good explanation to us. The staff there are friendly, nice and helpful.

Room are comfortable, big and clean enough. Room service is provided daily too. The location is great since it is walking distance to 大三巴牌坊, about 15min walking. The buses are easy to be access here and the free shuttle bus provided is efficient too.

We slotted a 3 day trip to macau on our yearly trip to h.k. arr h.k. at11.30 a.m. and went to our favourite hotel the royal-plaza in mong-kok east and left the bulk of our luggage there and took overnight bags to macau, was dropped at the ferry terminal and took the turbo to macau app 1 hour to macau, cleared customs rather quickly and then took a cab to the royal hotel we choose this hotel because it was in the quieter part of macau check-in smooth room smaller than we are used to slept right through till next morning we then walked to the ruins of st-pauls and sonador sq,that night took a bus to the venitian-hotel did some shopping amazing hotel, final morning went to sky-tower and did the sky-walk with my teenage daughter would stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Try and get aroom facing the park early morning watching the people doing there tai-chi..

We stayed here one night in September weekend - Taxi drive from the macau ferry terminal took about 15 minutes, propably not the most known hotel in Macau as the driver seemed somewhat puzzled at first.

The hotel entrance is facing a fairly quiet section of estrada vitoria (with 7-11 in the corner!), also walking distance to most casinos, I think Grand Lisboa was closest.

Staff was helpful at the hotel, check-in went ok. Had booked via the hotel online system asking for high floor, away from the lifts and non-smoking. Got all that.

Room itself was clean and tidy, altough some of the furniture appeared a bit old school but would say pretty typical 4 star set-up. Cable TV and free WiFi connection. In the wardrobe they were using some sort of strong scent to freshen up (same was also obvious in the hotel lounge area). Did not bother us.

Slept well, no noise at all.

Did not try any of the facilites or breakfast.

We arrived hotel at 1.00am, We made a booking before and already paid but we lost credit card. The stuff did not contact agency for us and did not let we checkin. The name in voucher is same with real passport. they let us contact agency ourselves at 2 am. and we cannot contact agency til 3 am and paid for expensive phone call (old coin operate) about 1hrs for weak signal and nothing. We have to go casino about 3 km. to exchange money for making a deposite so they let us checkin at 3.30 am. Porter never smile. The room is good. We are tried and unhappy to stay here because of their services.

Staffs are very nice and polite. Very proactive to help when I told them I have a city tour the next day and haven't receive any instructions.

Hotel also provided maps and the staffs gave us directions to nearby restaurants and attractions.

The room is awesome. Very clean and neat. Only bad thing is the view is of a construction building. :(

The breakfast buffet was really nice too. They had dim sum, congee, fried rice, noodles, bread, cheese, omelette and cereals.

Had a nice stay here. :)

If this Hotel appears to offer affordable 5 star in Macau it is because it is not. Do not eat in this Hotel, choices offered are often not available and the quality is poor. Many aspects of the Hotel are 3 star, for example if you are waiting in reception there only a few seats available to wait for free, the rest you have pay for !! never struck this sort of carry on in a 5 star Hotel before. Avoid and if you want quality in Macau look elsewhere.

Room Tip: choose a different Hotel for a pleasant stay in Macau
