Great location. Small rooms but good enough as most of the time will be spent touring. Comfortable beds though rather small. Clean rooms. Room rates are reasonable. Buffet breakfast offers a wide variety. Service is goodbut can be improved as some staff have difficulty speaking in english.

It was a pleasant stay in Sintra Hotel. There was a little problem with our reservation [but mostly our fault] and they still accommodated us and was flexible with our requests. The room was clean, well appointed, and facilities were adequate. The front office staff were very helpful and considerate.

However, it was a disappointment for a business traveler like me to not have free wifi in the room. I forgot how much they were charging for the internet, but I wasn't willing because: who else does not offer free wifi in the rooms anymore? I sometimes have coffee in the evenings in Grand Emperor across the hotel and avail of their free wifi instead. Oh, and another thing if you are used to hurrying up, you will find that their elevator moves in a snail-pace speed too!

Overall though, I'd be happy to stay there again, if I were only on a leisure trip.

My friends and I were more than happy with our stay at the Sintra hotel. It surpassed all expectations for us--from the location to the overall quality of the hotel. Free shuttle from ferry terminal, great location in the city center, and the price was right compared to other hotels in the area. The room was very clean, the beds soft, and it had great shower head pressure.

The buffet breakfast is nothing to brag about, but it was included in our package and we enjoyed the convenience. We would stay there again anytime!

Room Tip: Grand deluxe rooms have a pull out couch that is convenient if you have a group of three. Otherwise...

I stay 1 nite in deluxe room but the hotel upgrade me to grand deluxe. Hotel bed is good, clean, room is big, location is convenient. 15 minutes walk to the Ruin's of St. Paul. Near to Margaret's tart house too. Spoilt safety box in the room 907. Another inperfection is although free wireless internet is provided but the signal is extreme low! Either can't access or access for few minutes then disconnected. Just wondering why most of the hotel @ Macau & Hong Kong still refuse to provide free internet service to customers or provided a very lousy wireless signal , it is so inconvenient! As we all know, now is IT world........they should provide more high tech facilities to us.

Excellent location, walking distance to most must see attractions (Senado Square, St Pauls ruins, Fishermans Wharf,Wynns casino light festival every night and a number of casinos are all close by. There is a free shuttle buses from hotel to Macau pier, City of Dreams and the Venetian Casino.
The rooms here are comfortable and most reasonable for the rate you pay, staff effient and hepful. There are also a number of cafe and restraurants close by.

Hotel is located in the middle of everything. Surrounded by various Hotels, casinos, shop houses & tourist attraction within a walking distance. They have free shuttle to-from Macau Ferry terminal (to-from Hong Kong) and free shuttle to City of Dream & Venetian. Room size is acceptable (bigger than hotel in Hong kong) with useful amenities. Bed/pillow was great not ot soft or hard, very comfy. they provide free coffe/tea and bottles of drinking water. The only problem was the TV channels do not have much of an English speaking and movies. Staffs were friendly and speak fairly English. We will be back again..

Overall:

Sintra is located on the southern part of the Macau Peninsula. It is on the opposite corner from the Grand Emperor Hotel. There’s a free shuttle bus running between Macau Pier and the hotel. But if you miss the bus and don't want to wait another round, you can get on the Grand Emperor's bus instead. The latter has more buses at more frequent rounds. From the Grand Emperor it's less than 3 min walk to reach Sintra. Hotel entrance has two steps and so is not directly accessible by wheelchair. BTW this hotel is not disabled-friendly but if you’re not a full-time wheelchair dependant, these few steps pose no burden at all. I myself have minor issues on mobility so I just use wheelchair when sightseeing and can manage on my own while in hotel. Checks in and out were quick. Going up to your rooms is not a problem since there're two elevators available in the hotel. We stayed in Grand Deluxe room. Room is spacious with clean bathroom and complete with amenities. Breakfast was average. We didn't have other meals at the hotel's restaurant so no comment on that.
Among the must-do's when in Macau is visiting the City of Dreams and the Venetian on Taipa Island. Staying at Sintra gives you the very advantage of being on the front queue for the COD free bus which parks right outside the lobby. Other interesting places are within walking distance from Sintra, e.g. Performance Lake (symphony of lights and fountain) at the Wynn, Casino Lisboa, the picturesque Senado Square, St. Paul ruins, etc. If you are to depart Macau by airplane, again you can get on the free bus of the Grand Emperor to the airport. However, you need to obtain a free ticket from Customer Service in the Casino of Grand Emperor (2 tickets/person). These tickets must be presented to the staff at the bus queue before boarding.

Pros: convenient location; many recommended sights are within walking distance; free COD/Venetian bus stops right in front

Cons: weak mobile signal on high floor; bath tub needs replacement

Room Tip: Grand Deluxe Room
