“Best Western NOT Best Western”

Sun Sun Best Western 688Mop = $92.00Aud Total $184.00
Best Western not Best Western! This hotel lets down its brand name in a big way. The rooms are grubby and the smell of stale tobacco completely overwhelms you as you walk into the room. Walls and ceilings mouldy, carpet stained dirty and frayed, bathroom in poor condition, no English channels available on the television, coffee and tea making a challenge as the jug’s cord would not reach any of the power points in the room. Eventually had to use power point in the bathroom.
On the positive side, the location is good and the staff in the front foyer and front desk were good. This aside, this is the worst Best Western Hotel we have stayed in and for AUD$90.00 plus per room per night is a disgrace to the Best Western Brand. We certainly won’t be staying here or with Best Western for the rest of our 4four month Asian holiday.

Room Tip: If you must go here one on the higher levels facing the square

Decent location to get to old town but rude staff at check in. Complimentary water in the room.

Expensive to book through third party as they convert USD to HKD then to MOP after adding sales tax so far more expensive than advertised.

Internet only worked in reception

Bathroom old and unclean.

Dirty part of town

I checked in this hotel by 9 pm after finding all the ferry tickets to Hong Kong were sold. The front desk staff Wendy was very friendly and efficient as well as the two Filipino staff working at the night shift. After spending more than thousand Hong Kong dollars for a night at the resort hotel in Taipai island, maybe it's time to switch to a cheaper hotel like this one in Macau to explore the local atmosphere in the future.

The room has seen better times: the wall paper was dirty, the carpet was torn, the bath plug was broken... Besides we were given the smallest rooms where also the bed was quite small for a double bed.

Room Tip: Rooms on the corner are shoeboxes

Me and my parents went to macau last February, the room rates are reasonable, nice rooms, nice staff. Very near to the tourist spot like the, sanmalo, and the ruins. You can find nearby stores where you can buy basic necessities. An average hotel to stay in macau.

The hotel is one bus away (take bus 10A) from the Macau Ferry Terminal. The bus stop is very near (Praca Ponto E Horta) and the hotel is easy to find. We are welcomed by great people. We didn't had a hard time checking in. The room is fine with very good bed. We had the room in executive floor with Harbour view. Have enjoyed their bath tub. This is also a walking distance away from Senado, the Ruins and different Casinos like Grand Lisboa. The downside is that the internet is very slow at rooms, you can go to the hotel lobby for faster internet connection. Other than that, I would greatly recommend this! The staff are very accomodating especially the Pinoy staffs. Thanks for the good day Best Western Hotel! :)

This is by far one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. My mom and I traveled to Macau in 2010. We didn't book in advance and couldn't find any hotel near Senado so we had to walk around. Best Western Sun Sun was a bit expensive. The room was musty and smells awful. The restrooms are a bit unclean too.

The room is small and does not have wifi. The location is far from everything interesting. The receptionist was rude and could not speak English well.

Room Tip: book in advance. choose another hotel if possible
