Stayed for 1 night as a last minute trip to get out of Hong Kong. The room is stylish when compared to similar class of hotels and against other Holiday Inn. Quality of service and environment is what you expect. There were no big surprises or disappointments regarding my stay. However, I do think it is a good value for the casual visitor walking around the casinos and sights in Macau.

Stayed here just for 1 night on a weekday in Jan 2013. The hotel in one of the 3 (Conrad, Hyatt). The cheaper one among the 3 hotels. It is located next to City of Dreams (5 minute walk) and opposite Venetians.
Check in was quick as I am the PC Platinum member with a free room upgrade. Service is good and receptionist knowledgeable. Room was clean and big, nice decor and with most amenities. Free Wifi in room and in the lobby.
The new shopping mall next to the hotel is great for adult and kids as there is a toy/clothing store on the top level next to the food court. Less crowded compared to the Venetians and had lots of choices for food. Opened till 10:30-11:00pm.
Shuttle bus to major areas of Macau and other hotel casinos.
Visited the Titanic and Human Body Exhibition (remember to buy the package tickets which were much cheaper).

Have stayed twice at the new Holiday Inn Cotai Strip. I enjoy platinum status with Holiday Inn so I do get the VIP treatment. If you are using points this property is MUCH newer than the Holiday Inn Downtown. Of the major brands this new complex is the one that will allow for point stays in Macau. There is a Conrad Hilton, Sheraton and Holiday Inn. Points were just 15K for a night which is reasonable. There are a ton of restaurants to chose from. I like North for dumplings the best. The buffet at the Venetian across the street is much better than Orbit buffet as the shrimp are larger and the food just plain better.

If you gamble get a rewards card and go to the sands reward desk to better understand the benefits. Took a couple of trips to really get it, but once I did I got $500 HK per day in food vouchers (redeem after you play and they are good for 24 hours...know the restaurant you want to use it at though) and FREE play loaded too. There are no alcholic drinks in the casino, but the servers come by with soda, water, coffee, tea and warm milk!

I went during Chinese New Year and made it to the firework area...not the big show...the place where you buy what you want to shoot off yourself! There is a station on both the Taipie (spelling?) side and the main island near the tower...it is WILD! You don't have to buy much since the locals buy like crazy and set it all off next to you! Very loud and very fun...pyromaniacs will think they died and went to heaven! Some folks buy 30 foot stings of big firecrackers which are "lynched" like a hanging from huge triods and set off! You can't take anything out of the area once you buy it. It is well attended by fireman, safety personal and police. Its a riot! Go at night around 6-9 for a great show during chinese new year. If you're in town now...GO!!!!

The Holiday Inn is not as daunting at the Venetian which is across the street and triple the price. Lots of promotion for the Holiday Inn and its well run and clean. Stay there and go across to the Venetian for the shopping and buffet. You'll save a ton!

Room Tip: If you can upgrade to a suite they are very nice! Ask for extra towels in your room. Tip the mades a...

Kung Hei Fat Choy! We are delighted to hear that you spent the Chinese New Year holiday with us. It is one of the biggest event in the city, during which visitors can enjoy a variety of shows and activities, including firework display and parade. We wish to welcome you back at the property again when you can experience a different aspect of the city.

This Holiday Inn is new and located right across from the Venetian and Hard Rock in the Cotai area . The room I had was super clean and the check in/out process was smooth.

The hotel is connected to several others, with casinos and shops all interconnected... not a stand alone Holiday Inn.

The included breakfast was FANTASTIC! In fact- we joked about coming back just for the breakfast.

Great value.

We stayed for a relaxing stay my husband and I in this modern and new hotel with a combination of asian and western style. The location it was in the Centre of the Casino and we were happy to stay away from the city center, they offer us a free shuttle bus to the city and airport and we find many eating options in the hotel area. The room was very spacious and very beatifull and I must say that I finded the best housekeeping I could imagine.
Special Tip to all the staff!!, specially the front desk!!!

Large hotel in Cotai, Macau. I counted 480 paces from my room to reception (group check-in counter)! Almost half a kilometre! As with other hotels in the Cotai area, this hotel caters for thousands of guests daily. It's an unusual design in that the main restaurant (for breakfast) is located in a shopping mall, giving a feeling that it's not in the hotel at all. Arrival at the hotel was challenging as the coach driver was unsure of where to park for group check-in (back door entrance). Once in the hotel, the next challenge was to find the elevators to the rooms - it's necessary to walk through the shopping mall and atrium to a corridor that leads to either the Holiday Inn or (if you take a wrong turning) to the Conrad Hotel's rooms. Once inside, the rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. It's a further challenge to get a taxi as the taxi queue seems shared with other hotel properties and some exit doors seem locked and alarmed - almost as if the architects had one idea, but operations staff have others. This is a hotel that is great once you've got used to "how it works", before that have fun with the challenges it presents!

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the elevators to avoid a long trek!
