“Best are in Macau”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

This village really shows the Portuguese influence with the quaint buildings and restaurants there.

Lots of places to eat, and a large variety of foods from local, Portuguese, Spanish and even to Thai!
Great place to wander around and soak up the realxed atmosphere. It's easy to walk to the Cotai strip if you want to gamble or easy to grab a bus or taxi to anywhere else.

Highly recommend!!

“Equivalence of Senado Square area in Taipa”
Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

Nice place to eat, shop and get souveniors. Souvenior are either the same price or cheaper here compared to Senado square area. But of course, there are fewer shops here hence limited selection.

“Interesting shops catering to tourists - gd if u need to grab cookies and dinner”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

A cluster of shops catering to needs of tourists . I can see why it appeals to pple - if one is not a gambler, this is a nice way to spend some time outside the hotel. Some of the oldest traditional shops can be found here ....
