We originally wanted to try those from Venetian but found out that the playrooms in phase 1 and 2 of Venetian are too small compared with kids city. The kids city is very spacious and are divided into different zones like electronic games zone, trampolin zone, cosplay zone ,art zone and the baby zone (good for 3 years old and under. Kids need to wear long sleeves, pants and socks or they have to buy one from them(cost around $80 for a plain long sleeve t shirt with their logo)

Took my 9 year olds kids here over the weekend, having waited many months for this place to re-open. We obeyed the rules, with the girls wearing long legging, socks and long sleeved shirts, to be confronted at the door, with they can't come in! There is a couple of inches of flesh showing between the bottom of their leggings and their socks! We thought this was ridiculous, until we realized the ploy to sell hkd30 high ankled socks, or for you to buy them new pants, funnily enough on sale at their shop. What are you going to do? so great emotional blackmail by the staff. The Filipinno ladies working their are friendly but it looks like the local cantonese or macanese are in charge, who literally bark at you. Some empathy training required to work with kids perhaps?
Once in, the place is a big step up from the old venue, with drop slides, bouncy rooms, as well as a huge amount of arcade games. From the Western shoot 'em ups, to Japanese throwing games. There is even a small cafe serving drinks and snacks where the kids can use the bar code reader on their wrist bands to purchase a pre set limit of goodies.
Not cheap, running at around HKD300 for a couple hours but there is a discount with the city of dreams players card. In summary great venue, bad staff attitude.

My husband tried to take my two-year old daughter here while I was at the House of Dancing Water Show with my five-year old son, and Kid's City wouldn't let my daughter in ... an employee explained to my husband that all children need to have arms and legs completely covered for "hygiene reasons" (we didn't even take trousers and long sleeves to Macau because it was so warm!)! Really??!? - We found this seriously ridiculous!! This was supposed to be her special treat while her big brother saw the water show, and she was devastated. Very disappointing that such a silly rule would be in place! ... I wouldn't be surprised if they soon require kids to wear face masks and latex gloves!

The registration process takes ages and theres no fast queue for people who've already registered. Other than that, once you're in it's fine and the kids have a great time.
