The registration process takes ages and theres no fast queue for people who've already registered. Other than that, once you're in it's fine and the kids have a great time.

The venue itself is very good, and will be even better when summer comes and the kids have access to the pool. Half the space is a free play area, with lots of the slides and climbing areas and a great bouncy room; the other half is a paid area with electronic games etc. Kids receive an electric arm band on entry which they can easily swipe against the games and the band keeps track of the fees.

The facility wasn't poor - what was poor was the lack of explanation on the arm-band system and pricing upon entry and subsequently I received a very large bill upon exit - and a bit of a shock as to what happened. I was told we had two free uses of the arm band, but didn't realise that you could cap the expenditure or lock it down, if you didn't do either of these, it was better value to go elsewhere for entertainment. But...

1. If you lock it down, you have to walk through these 'paid game areas' - what I class as a major tantrum zone ("why can't I play!!!!?" - very clever to offer two free goes on entry)
2. If you don't lock it down and choose to monitor it you have to shadow the kids around the centre (good luck if you have more than one child to shadow)

Please consider that the lack of upfront explanation may be due to my poor Chinese, and the reception desks' poor English.

I wanted to take my 5-year-old daughter to Kids' City yesterday (14 DEC 2013). But I found it has been closed until sometime next year. It was not announced on the website as of today.... They should have done so. We wasted time and got tired. The lady at information desk told me that there is another playground in Sands Cotai Central. But it was much much smaller and cost MOP90 for 2 hours. Yeah, my daughter looked happy.

Our Children had Fun in Kid's City. City of Dreams has not much for Kids, it's looks like a big Casino and it's a terrible smell of smoke everywhere! Smoking is allowed in the Casino, but no doors so the smell goes everywhere -:((
