“abandoned place”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

fisherman's wharf is abandoned place/ abandoned buildings near macau maritime ferry terminal, in front of sands casino hotel. Exit from macau maritime ferry terminal just walk to the left until you see an overpass. turn left again and walk to sands casino hotel. in front of sands there you will find fisherman's wharf. you will find building like colloseum, chinesse castle, etc. nothing special there. but you can take pictures with harbour view. if you want to go to grand prix museum and wine museum, from fisherman's wharf, just walk across sands casino to bauhinia statue. find bauhinia statue (gold lotus statue) it's small statue.

“Quiet, lovely view, lots of photo ops”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Fishermans Wharf is a photographer's wonderland. The place offers a nice backdrop for picture taking. There was a man made volcano ( heard that it used to erupt every 30 minutes or so before), a colosseum like open theater, a Chinese castle, European and Louissiana architecture. It just saddens me that the place looked so abandoned, with very few visitors, to think that it was Christmas time when we were there while the developer must have spent a fortune with the place!

Fishermans Wharf was one of my favorite place in Macau. A must visit that will serve as a break from the glitz and glamour of the hotels and casinos.

“Move along...There's nothing worth seeing here”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

It's a barren desolate ghost town with nothing to do and not worth the bother. Don't let the local tour operators tell you it's worth seeing. Check out the great Heritage areas of the old town centre instead.
