we went there at the night time yet we found most of the shops are closed around 9 plus. its a bit too early for them to close the shop as we found not much things to shop or dining.

Lots of good food and Souvenirs! must go place in Macau. The crab congee is famous there, you can go to the other end where you can find a small shop selling fish ball, huge and yummy

Things must check out:
1. the Portuguese restaurant at the beginning of the street. knuckle is a must to try.
2. Zhu Hoeng Yuan pastries. Best place to get local pastries.
3. Koe kei. another place to buy local pastries.
4. Serdura, a fine Portuguese style dessert.
5. Durian ice-cream at another end of the street.

It's a street full of restaurants, snack shops, and gift stores. We did not find it having a soul to itself. Too many tourists make the street very crowded. We waited for 30 minutes to get a table in a restaurant in the area.

it's a very busy street with flux of tourists to shop for souvenirs. However, if one walk around, it's an area, showing a strong Macau tradition. The houses are all painted in lovely colour, which shows marks of the Portuguese influence. There are different small shops and bistro around, which can certainly satisfy one's hunger!
