We decided to go to the museum after having visited a number of outdoor sites and while it was the perfect way to cool down (it was a pretty hot and humid day!), it was also a great way to learn more about their culture and about the city. There was a variety of displays, from dioramas, to actual rooms you can "peer" into, to small viewing areas where you can watch short documentaries. after going through all the exhibits (which we did - it was that interesting!), you exit to mount fortress which gives you a great view of the city (and a perfect venue for all the pictures you want to post on facebook!)

You will learn a not you could not imagine about Macao people: traditions, food, main occupations, hobbies, main industry, architecture and features of Portuguese influence.
Lots of ancient things to see. Worth going!

This little museum is an inexpensive way to see a little history. If it's a hot day, you'll enjoy the air conditioning.

I got teary eyes from observing antiques and old photos. Reminiscing of my grandparents. Many interesting Macanese artifacts. With cheap admission fees. I was a little disappointed that the Terracotta warrior and some items are actually a replicas. But overall, an experience worthwhile.
