This is a fabulous museum, and not just because of its contents. Situated on 3 levels, it is highly interactive and has lots of small dioramas and full scale room reproductions. It offers artifacts from the Chinese presence and the European influence. Because of Macau's early position as a hub of trade, and because of the Catholic orders (Jesuit and Franciscan)who came to "convert" the "heathens", the 2 cultures blended and took the best of each. The setting of the building with its vista views is also wonderful.
