“Beautiful church”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

It locates at senado sq., so it's really convenient to go.
The church is not big but quite beautiful and good atmosphere.

I bet most of travelers come to senado sq., so it's not bad to take a walk here.

“I love the tiny yellow facade.”
Reviewed April 17, 2013 via mobile

In the heart of the historic centre of Macau walking among the streets of the city centre you find yourself faced with numerous churches testifying to the former Portuguese colony of Macau, one of these delicious structures is the St. Domingo's church.
As modest as modest is the building size, I really liked the yellow color of the facade with its green wooden windows that with porphyry floor color it makes a very characteristic and picturesque environment.
It is possible also to visit the Interior, there's not much to comment within the simplicity and humility itself.

“What a most beautiful church!”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

This had to be one of the nicest churches I've seen before. A nice buttery yellow exterior paint with dark green on the shutters.
The interior was very stunning and the statues and various religious elements around the sides were incredibly cool.
When you walk to the right there's a corridor that leads to the back of the church to which leads upstairs to three (or four) different floors that contain lots of different decor in relation to Catholicism; Paintings, figurines, statues, and clothing from earlier times line all the different floors and came complete with descriptions for most of the items that were on display.
To get here, simply walk up Senado Square and as you approach the first intersection in the road, it'll be right on the left side.

“very typical church. Nice peaceful escape from the crowd.”

Don't expect too much. Ordinary working church. A nice & quite getaway from the street noise. Say a prayer, enjoy the peace.

Just beautiful as we walked in when the choir were practising. Definitely worth having a look at if you are in the vicinity.
