“Must-see in Macau”
Reviewed May 8, 2013 via mobile

Quiet and old village in Macau. Coloane Village offers a range of unique cultural and historical sights as well as great food that you would enjoy. From temples to abandoned ship construction sites, to churches and old Portuguese streets and buildings, you can easily spend a day there relaxing in this quiet place, on foot or on a rented bike. Complete with Macanese cuisine, egg tart, beach and barbecue.

Another part of life in Macau, quiet, sea breeze and beautiful scenery. There is a famous shop called lord stow selling Portuguese egg tarts.

“Lovely Village”

Stroll round this village untouched by the glitz of the casinos.
The Macau tourist organization has a nice walk you can do in Coloane

“Sleepy little town...”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

Sleepy little town away from it all. Its easy to walk around for a few hours or half a day. See the quaint old architecture and wander the alleyways and along the water. Stop at the temple. Have coffee at a cafe and egg tarts at Lord Stowe's bakery. Then board a bus or taxi back to Taipa or Macau. A couple of cafes along the main road by the bus and taxi area, or if you walk along the water until you come to the church (about half way down on your left side if you are heading to the temple) there are a few seafood restaurants scattered about.

“Fresh Air in Macau”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Well the best has to be Hac Sa beach which is safe for children and excellent for swimming. The reservoir behind the beach has a boating lake and wonderful country park walks with fantastic views and for a meal the Miramar restaurant at the north end is excellent in both food and value
