Coloane to me is the sleepy area of this area. If you want to see the Pandas they are located here. And I are at to wonderful Portuguese restaurants there. Do you have to visit? No. But if you want to be through go right ahead. Plus the pandas ;)

You must go around, but if you don't, you do not miss a THING!!
It was very cute, the beach with the black sand was nice but nothing else then that!

We wanted to see something of the past. Coloane (Co Lo On) was a good place for this. Quaint cafes, small temples, fishing boats and a sea breeze.

It took about 1hr to walk around the lower village and then the heavens opened, with flash flooding and massive lightening. storm

We took refuge in Cafe Cheri on Eanes Park, which served up a truly delicious and good priced lunch. Its very popular and having arrived in time for a table, we then watched people queue for up to 30 mins, waiting for a space.

Although we could have taken any bus back to Macau Central, we decided on a taxi because of the rain.
