“Love it!”

Fabulous experience. Love the trendy outfits the staff wear - none of this stiff starched uniforms! Makes it more relaxing and welcoming. The room was fantastic and spacious with a terrific view. Love the lemongrass scented toiletries! You really don't need to bring your own. Great access into town and ferry port with free minibuses. Only downer was the buffet breakfast which was a bit limited compared to the amazing feasts you normally get in Asian hotels but ok compared to western ones. Bit on the pricey side but Macau isn't cheap these days because of all the casinos. I would definitely recommend it and would consider staying there again.

As another review mentions, I had always wanted to know what it was to stay at a Hard Rock Hotel. I had the chance to grab a promotion in December and spent there a night-- "in transit".

The shuttle service is quite convenient (and the one that picked me from the airport was completely empty, so like a very big limo service) and takes you to the City of Dreams.
I have to say i was a bit lost once i got there. I ended up on the second floor of the hotel, then had to go down... i felt there was not enough signals on how to get to the hotel lobby? (at least from the inside of City of Dreams).

The check in was swift, but the rooms-- my biggest complain is the lack of personality. No real "rock and roll" feeling to it-- it has small details (like the guitar stitched on the pillow cover, the mini bar options, etc) but I was very underwhelmed. The toilet was a completely spartan room painted in dark grey, and the shower and bath in a separate room, but as well, not a lot of "personality". The bed was kind of hard.

The Hard Rock Cafe-- i was amazed because you couldn't really find any Chinese as part of the service staff, it was almost like being in the US :). The live music was all right, food quite "standard" and service remarkable (but also kind of pushy, like-- to make your bill longer). Being a guest at the Hotel, they give you a discount (10 or 15%, I don't recall at the moment) on the restaurant (and maybe at the store).

One plus point: on the next day, I arrived past 11 am for breakfast and even when they had already packed everything, the manager arranged an omelette for me-- so I thank you for that.

The casino-- i was not impressed. I guess you have bigger casinos in the Venetian and others, and the casino at the HRC was tiny! and quite empty (that might be because it was in the middle of the week). But the service is friendly and at the end, gambling is gambling.

One last comment: I have to say i couldn't find the proper mall of City of Dreams-- i walked a bunch but wasn't able to find it-- at all (stores around, yes, but not proper mall-like). Quite odd.

Room Tip: The "Standard room" is quite small.. dont expect too much from them.

Hard Rock Hotel is in a very nice complex with the City of Dreams. Free shuttle buses to and from airport.

Hotel was nice, plenty of shopping, although most of it is high end shops. Free wifi in the rooms. A huge casino if you are a gambler, and a Hard Rock Cafe and other restaurants in this hotel.

Our room had a good view of the Venetian just opposite the hotel. It's located very close to famous and beautiful Venetian. Just that the toilet bowl and bathtub are in two separate rooms. And i like the fragrance they had around the hotel. Smells good!

Staff are helpful when we needed them.
Enjoyed our stay!

Room Tip: Their corner suite rooms are huge.

We stayed at Hard Rock for one night and it was my daughters birthday. To our surprise,
the staff brought a very nice chocolate cake with a guitar at the top and fruit to our room,
it was a really nice surprise for all of us -:)) Thank you again Hard Rock staff!
Corner Suite room was nice and spacious. The Breakfast Buffet are served at the Hard Rock Cafe
and has a lot to offer.
We went as well to the show House of Dancing Water, excellent and exiting.
We got tickets for the Dragon treasure show, nice to see.

Centrally located and easy access to casinos in the area. Good price if you bought package including tickets for House of Dacing Water. Free buses to all major points so there is no local travelling cost.

Summer is very hot in Macau.

We stayed at the hotel in sept 2012. We found the rooms (deluxe) to be spacious, two queen sized beds were sufficient to ccommodate two adults and two kids.
The hotel was gracious enough to provide nearly unlimited bottles of water on request free of charge. The servic was very prompt. The combo offers with city of dreams , dancing waters and the dragon show were very good deals. Venetian is right across the road. Hotel shuttle was very convenient for airport transfers. You get tickts for ferry at the reception itself... That is very convenient.
Overall a good place to stay...the hotel is interconnected ith other buildings and also has a bus stan in basement... Considered a better place to stay compared to the venetian.
There was no vegeterian food available in he hotel shops .... However the same can be had t the food court at the Indian Spices restaurant....
Nice place overall.

Just back from a weekend trip to Macau, spent one night at the Hard Rock Hotel. This was our first stay. Room was smaller than I expected and felt like it lacked care to detail. Very basic bathroom with combined bath and shower. Shower has cheap attachments.

Because the hotel is part of a complex (The City of Dreams) it does not have all the trapping you get with other hotels. It is basically a lobby with rooms. The Hard Rock Cafe, where breakfast is served, is below the hotel in the complex and it feels like you go to the shopping mall to eat. I can understand why it is like this but it felt a little odd. Breakfast was good though.

Check in was really nice. We arrived a little late and had had the reception to ourselves. The person who checked us in took her time and carefully explained the contents of our package (tickets to the shows, free gambling money, breakfast coupons etc).

Check out was a different story. Unorganized and inefficient. The care free attitude of the staff that was nice on check in was an irritation on checkout and we had to wait far longer than we should have.

We went with friends and they had a mysterious noise in their room that kept them awake. The noise would start up for a bout 5 minutes or so, stop for 5 minutes and then start again. They didn't complain as it was for only 1 night.

This was our first stay and probably our last. Not because the hotel is bad (it's not) but because there are better for the same kind of money. I've wanted to try this hotel for a while and I am glad I did but I have no need to go back.
