This is likely the best hotel we have ever stayed with for our children (nearly four years, and six months old). We came to go to the Zaia theatre- Cirque du Soleil- with our four years old daughter, and chose the Four Seasons because The Venetian messed up the booking procedure. We had not booked Four Seasons in the first place because we did not expect much from our holiday- after all, this is Casino land.
And so we had the most pleasant string of surprises from the moment we left the shuttle bus that dropped us at the casino next door. Bell"boy" Virghilio came running to help us with our luggage. While we checked in, he got fluffy toys for our girls. Throughout, the staff was great with the kids. We got a toiletry set for our baby, as well as a baby bath, bottle sterilizers etc. the moment they knew we had a bay with us- without us ever asking for these. The staff knew our older daughter had gone to Zaia (Charlotte Cheung at reception), they remembered our name during chance encounters (Candy from concierge services), and so on.
We stayed at a Premier Room, 75 sqm with a small dining area, a visitors' toilet, gorgeous bathroom. Everything worked well, there was no need for complaints.
We had lunch on arrival at the pool bar Splash, which has a separate kids' menu as well as some good quality sandwiches and likewise fare as would be expected from such a venue while our room was prepared, and could check in early.
Shortly afterwards, the goodies started arriving for our baby. We discovered a small bathrobe for our four year old, a kids' toothbrush and toothpaste set, and special small red slippers for our daughter. That was the moment we decided we would come back here.
With the small children exhausted from the circus, we had in room dining, choosing food from the Chinese restaurant Zi Yat Heen. This was easily the best in room dining we ever had. Small wonder- the restaurant holds two Michelin stars!
Breakfast buffet at the Belcancao restaurant was great, beating all breakfast buffets we have had in the region over the past few years. For lunch and dinner, their buffet even has a special kids' section!
After this, we skipped lunch and returned for High Tea before catching the ferry home, again a good choice.
We cannot praise this hotel highly enough. This was true luxury- all our needs and wishes were anticipated and fulfilled. We will try to find the time to come back, and until then dream of coming back.

On our first vacation since our son was born, we traveled to Hong Kong and on to Macau. We were tired after 7 days of sighseeing in Hong Kong and were looking for some leisure and pampering at the Four Seasons Macau. And boy, did they deliver?

The check-in was delayed because a lady in front of us made a scene about not being able to get a room. Otherwise the staff were very courteous and welcome. We were soon whisked away to our Suite on the Club Level. The Club Level is restricted by card access in the elevators.

The room was spacious by any standard. We found this a welcome change from Hong Kong where the rooms were tiny to say the least. The room was clean and all the furnishings were rich with good contrast. The butler was very helpful and showed us around the room and gave us a quick tutorial on all the appliances (coffee maker, tv, dvd, ice maker, mini bar, remotes etc.). Our kid was excited with the kids package which included a bath robe, bathroom slippers, kid brush and paste and a couple of other goodies (a cake, cookies and milk were a nice touch).

The Four Seasons Macau adjoins the Venetian Grand which is the largest casino in Macau. Although, the Four Seasons had its own casino it was small compared to Venetian's. So, we had the benefit of two casinos not to mention the huge shopping malls and a multitude of eating options. The Venetian also has a kids zone called the The Cube to leave your kids at while you give away your hard-earned money to the casinos. They seem to have thought of everything to rob you :)

We mostly ate the 2 restaurants at the Four Seasons, the Bellacancao and Club Lounge. The Bellacancao has a generous buffet spread for lunch and dinner ranging from Continental to Sushi to Indian. We just had breakfast in the Club Lounge. The waiters and cook were very helpful and accommodating to our kid's demands.

Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Four Seasons really made us feel at home away from home. Despite being expensive, the Four Seasons provided great value for money. I'd definitely stay there again.

Initially I wanted to stay at the vinetian, but being the chinese new year time could not get availability there, had to settle with this. Laterr I realized it was a blessing in disguise. The only downside was that a few people did not have a very good command of the English language, but overall the experience was v.good. The best part was that both the vinetian and the four seasons are interconnected, ie, it was nice.

very beautifully constructed, great casino, spacious rooms total value for money, our stay was for 2 nights but was the most luxurious stay.

shopping arcade was huge almost all brands under one roof. Had a crazy shopping spree shopped till we dropped.

The casino was amazing experience even won some money, though a lot of if was written in their language there was a little communication problem it was difficult for the staff to understand English

the food was very good, breakfast was lavish.

Just came back from Macau and stayed two nites in Four Seasons. Have stayed in Venetian, MGM, Mandarin, Westin before and now find this hotel is as nice and luxurious as described in this forum. Compared with Venetian, this hotel is much better in terms of maintenance, cleanliness and atmosphere. The pools here are bigger and not as shallow and crowded as Venetian. Really love the tv screen opposite the bath tub. There are shuttle buses travelling between the 3 hotels COD, Venetian and FS very frequently as well as to the two Jetties. Shopping and dining are easy as it is just next to Venetian. Here you can get a taxi comfortably without having to go thru long queues as in Venetian. Overall, a splendid stay and would love to go back to this hotel again.

When we arrived at the ferry terminal we were transported directly the hotel which looked like a european style building. We Checked in in the lovely lobby were a member of staff took us up to our superb room. It was large had a huge great bed and marble bathroom with separate bath and shower. The bathroom also featured a tv in a mirror in front of the bath as well as the huge one in the room. We went to the pool which was lovely even though it wasn't the warmest of days. A staff member came with towels, water, a misty spray and cold watermelon. The hotel is connected to a shopping complex called the shoppes at four seasons which had many up-market shops which we were not really in the market for. Then once you walked through the shops you entered the huge maze that is the Venetian which was also very nice but didn't have the feel that the Four Seasons had. The Venetian also had a rooftop golf course which was great fun. Also on the strip there is a complex called City of Dreams which had more shops and hotels we accidently walked into the hard rock hotel which had a collection of rock memorabilia. There was also a free show to watch in the City of Dreams called Dragons Treasure which was an amazing 360 degree special affect show . Macao also has a nice square on the peninsula which was quaint and had many local shops as well as a cathedral square where a ruin of a cathedral remains. Overall a pleasant stay.

We are the fans of Four Seasons and we stayed in many other Four Seasons around the world. It has been my 4th times in this hotel (Macao FS) and I loved it for the past few times of stay. I also recommended it to many friends since I am so confident that they will like this hotel the same way as I did.
Unfortunately, I was so disappointed last week!
It was around 11.15am when we walked out from the pier with my husband, my baby and my helper. We had a big luggage with a baby stroller. However, there were no one to help us at all in the four seasons counter there in the pier. We didn't know which shuttle bus to get on or where to take a taxi. It was hot and the sun was so strong. No body to ask and no one help us, not even a sign to tell us where to go! we finally get on the shuttle bus for the Plaza Casino (They even don't run their own shuttle bus like any other hotels in Macao does!),
We finally arrives the hotel, the check in service was good, efficient as usual.
The room was good, we booked a executive suite and they upgrade us to the Ambassador suite which is very much bigger. The room was very nice but until I open my closet and see a dead COCKROACH.
Ok, fine, I through someone will remove it after the turn down service, but sorry, it was still there in the evening.
Okok, fine fine, we sleep with that thing for a night. Then the next morning, we went out to swim and Lunch, we came back to the room at 1430. our room was still not cleaned, at 1430, no one clean out room, so I called the house keeping, and the funny answer was: sorry we didn't clean your room but also you didn't turn on the indication light telling us to clean your room!". My God, I was shock with her answer and I said" sorry, it is not my first time to stay at a hotel and I don't think we need to turn on any light or hang out any sign to tell the housekeeping to clean the room!" . I was so disappointed,
They want to come in and clean the room straight away, but since baby was sleeping, we didn't let them come in until baby wakes up at 1630.
Apart from these, we were so disappointed as well on the Executive lounge. There were so so so crowed in the morning but only a few staffs serving us. No one ask us about coffee or tea, no one ask us about what eggs we want, no one take the dirty plates away. just no service. We are paying extra for staying in the suite and going to the executive lounge, but we cannot see any service.
We through there are so many guests stayed in the executive room that's why the lounge was full of people, but later I realise that even guest from Venetian can come to the lounge as well. Then I wonder why should I pay so much extra to stayed in the Four seasons but other guest from other hotel can just come in use the same facilities. Why should I pay the extra???
They did try to win us back when we took the taxi back to the pier when we leave. there were three staffs waiting for us in the pier helping us with the luggage. But it is too late. We will consider some other hotels in Macao, there are ample amount of choices in Macao which is even cheaper then Four Seasons.
