I am basically a professional traveler and this was one of the finest hotels, both service and property, that I have visited. It is not necessarily the fanciest hotel, but I did not have a single thing that I could say against the hotel or service.

Hoping that the fab Four Seasons brand would transform the whole Macau experience was too much to expect. The hotel is beautiful but lots of little things are keeping this from being a true Four Seasons experience. Starting with no one at the ferry terminal representing the hotel--visitors must find their own way to the myriad of other hotel resort shuttles to find the FS's one--completely not marked at all, except for Four Seasons Shops on the side. The driver didn't even pull into the reception area, we had to schlepp our own bags off the bus which stopped conveniently, of course, in front of the casino instead. Little things like messy lobby bathrooms, and poorly made cappucinos ensued. The straw that broke the camel's back was the food poisoning my husband suffered by the pork dumplings from breakfast. (only thing I didn't eat that he had eaten in the past 2 days time). We loved the comfy bed--and the staff is as nice as they can be, but they have some definite rough edges to sort out before I could honestly recommend this high priced place to a friend. Not good value for money AT ALL.

We just recently spent two nights at the Four Seasons Macao and I would highly recommend the experience, so much so that we can't wait to return with some friends and family.

We were collected at the Cotai Jet terminal and directed to the free shuttle bus which took us directly to the hotel (the trip took 5-10 minutes) and when we pulled into the driveway our jaws just dropped, it is so beautiful. We are no stranger to 5 star hotels, but this really took things to the next level.

We had a seamless check in and were shown to our room (just one of their lead in rooms which I think are called Deluxe). It was beautifully furnished (think Ralph Lauren) and had a king size bed, large desk, sofa and coffee table. The bathroom is HUGE and features a double vanity, large bath, huge shower and separate toilet.

The best was divine, not too firm yet not too soft and finished with equisite bedlinen. In our room was complementary Fiji water and L'Occitane toiletries which were beautiful and replenished twice daily!

The little things like the turn down service where they put little mats beside the bed with slippers made the stay that much more enjoyable.

We had a 'Stay and Play' package which included lunch or breakfast in Belcancao. We did lunch both days and can highly recommend the experience. The food was fantastic with everything from sushi & sashimi to indian, chinese, western, tapas and seafood on offer. Once you got through the main courses there was a great cheese and dessert selection to choose from.

As we are not gamblers, we spent our mornings in the gym and the afternoons by the exquistite pools. Firstly the gym. It is brand new and fitted out with state of the art Technogym equipment. There is complementary Fiji water (again!) and it was a delight to work out there.

Now to the pools... there are five pools to choose from and the choice to sit either outside on a lounge or within a cabana that features it's own plasma television! Very impressive! It was just bliss and seriously one of the best pool complexes I have ever experienced.

As for the spa, it is one of the best complexes I have been in, completely serene and uber impressive. Unfortunately we did not have any treatments, but as the previous reviewer mentioned, you can use the facilities without actually booking a treatment.

Location wise we found the Four Seasons perfect as it is away from the hussle and bussle of the Venetian, yet just a short walk through The Shoppes at the Four Seasons to get to the Grand Canal.

Whatever you are planning to do in Macao, I would highly recommend staying at the Four Seasons. We'll be back!

Food and the room was great. Unfortunately, we discovered the spa facilities were open to guests of the hotel without purchasing any spa treatments an hour before we left when we visited the spa. If anything, the reception should have told us that to make our stay that much more enjoyable. Anyhow, I still recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the Four Seasons Macau for a 3 day conference.
The hotel is nice, nothing super special but good location to sights like the Venetian, etc.
Very modern gym with TVs on the treadmills, TV in the bath and of course only a walk away from the black jack tables! The staff is almost too polite, waiting eagerly to bring you anything you need!

Have to say the nibbles and lunches that were prepared for the conference breaks were fantastic! Delicious food!
And if you are a seafood fan do not miss out on the evening buffet at the Four Seasons!

Generally I would not recommend Macau for a holiday - the ride on the turbojet is enough to put you off! But if you have to go for business, the four Seasons is a good option.

Stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and got a great deal on an Ambassador Suite - almost 2000sq.ft.!! I have been a fan of Four Seasons for a long time (my first job ever was at a Four Seasons) and am generally very impressed with this property.

The staff were as good as you can expect in Macau - though the managers are definitely a cut above.

The room was absolutely fantastic, though i must admit there isn't much of a view. Ours faced the City of Dreams which at that point was still a big construction site.

The public areas of the hotel are fantastic as is the swimming pools etc. One of the unique experiences that we had was at the "fish spa" at the Four Seasons Mall (though not run by Four Seasons).

You can get pretty good deals for the Four Seasons Macau now (about HK$1600 all inclusive) and i would say it's definitely worth every penny to stay here.

Not a typical Four Seasons, nothing was up to the usual Four Seasons standard. I had visited many Four Seasons around the world, and I have to say I am extremely disappointed about this one in Macao. My whole family got woken up in the middle of the night around 2-3 am by some irritating heavy metal music. Believe it just sounded not coming from upstairs or downstairs, very close by. We called the front desk and they told us that the music was from the pool side party of the newly open hotel across the street. It was actually quiet far from our hotel, as we could not even see the pool of that hotel. Anyway, the hotel just simply responded us that that hotel was not theirs therefore they had no control over it, FULL STOP. TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE. RISK YOUR GOOD NIGHT SLEEP if you insist to stay in this overrated FOUR SEASONS.
