“4 tarts in 2 days”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

The best egg tarts I've ever had! I spent only 2 full day in Macau and can't help but had 4 tarts. It's just irresistable. The aroma, the sweetness, the soft texture inside and crunchy layered base outside.
Agreed that service was not that great. But I'm here for the tarts, not for the service!

“Delicious! Best Portuguese egg tart”
Reviewed October 8, 2013 via mobile

This is the best Portuguese egg tart I have tasted. You have to eat it while hot. I had like 3 of them. Crust is flaky. Center filling is the smooth and creamy eggs custard that melts in your month. Delicious!
The shop is hidden in a small lane short walk from the town main road

“Confusing order/pick-up, limited seats, but great egg tarts”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

When we found the place, there were two long lines coming out from the store. There were some staff shouting that one line was for ordering and so we designated a person to stand in line while the rest of us tried waiting for a place to sit.

This system makes it very difficult to order, because none of us had any idea what else they sold at the shop, and once our friend inside could see the menu/drinks, it was impossible to communicate it back to us, who were outside the shop.

However, the Portuguese egg tarts are really amazing, and be careful not to burn the roof of your mouth when biting into it.

Don't expect the visit here to be relaxing, but it's worth it if you enjoy egg tarts.

“The Second best Egg Tart in Macau”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

We discovered this place when searching for the Chan Kong Kei Black paper roast duck.
As per my friend, this is own by the wife of the guy who make the best egg tart (lord stow).
Although the egg tart from lord stow is slightly better than this one, but the milk tea is winning on this. There are quite a q to here.
There are a few foods around there. Must try this also !!!
