Have just returned from our 2nd visit to these apartments. The first was over 3yrs ago and it was as good. We asked for and got a high apartment which we were given which was private and not overlooked. Balcony is brilliant, being so large. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. With the supermarket nearby and the resort centre with its restaurants and cafes a stroll away these apartments are ideal.

Room Tip: High rooms good although you have to use several lifts.

Returned two weeks ago and wish we were back there now....As a young (ha ha) couple with a 4 year old we found found apartments excellent.Nice layout, and huge balcony.Kitchenette was ideal for preparing breakfast on the balcony, two ring hob was used a couple of time to make an omelette but that was as near we got to cooking!Supermarket opposite hotel has large choice of cheeses, meats, fruits etc all surprisingly cheap.Everything you could want for that relaxing breakfast.Slight negative is supermarket does not open till 8.30 so if you are woken by your darling child at 7.0 you going to have to wait for fresh bread!!
Pools are open at 8.30 and....lets just say there are some unbelievable selfish idiots that have no worries with reserving 4 sun loungers right by pool and then not appearing till midday....as previously mentioned we are early risers but if we were not down a pool by 9.00 you could be without sun loungers....hotel is doing nothing to address this problem (putting paper message on towels total waste of time),anyway rant over....Pools are all lovely, warm and clean. Children's pool area very busy, infinity pool very relaxed, other pool somewhere in between. Our apartment 504 was closest to "other pool"(can't think of it's name) which suited us just fine for when we wanted pool days.Daughter loved all pools but this one was more relaxed with right age group of children for her.If you want ball games etc the children's pool was excellent, and also had the pool bar.
All staff very friendly and no problem finding room. There is allot of lifts but if you can follow basic instructions it's not rocket science!
Hotel is 10 minutes stroll from center of Puerto de Mogan, which for a small place has dozens of restaurant's.Being self catering we ate out for the whole two weeks and can honestly say we did not have a bad meal! There is excellent food to be had. Will say though that some restaurant's are not cheap. Some on the other hand (Mogs bar for instance) offer great value for money in both food and drink. We will return to Puerto de Mogan for the food alone..
Puerto de Mogan is relaxed and winds down at around 11.00 but there is on street with 4 bars that we are told open late if that's what you want.....
Hotel bar closes early 11.00, which is a shame as would have been nice to have a few nightcaps after the stroll back.
Bit annoying that balcony lights are turned off just after 11.00 as well so you can't be doing late(ish) night reading....
Apartments very clean.
Hotel entertainment every night (we never got to see any though as did not fit in with our restaurant visits!) which other guests said was very good.
Lovely hotel to stay (despite several moans), and would return.

Room Tip: Have shower before wife and daughter go in and use all 7 towels!!!!

Returned from these apartments yesterday ( 2.09.13 ), all I can say is if you are looking for 2 bedrooms with ample space this place has it, the balcony is massive, the master bedroon has a huge double bed & is en suite, whilst the other bedroom has their own toilet next door....fantastic.
The resort itself is great, just a 10 - 15 min stroll down to the harbour area for some great food, Zoo Bar is brill or try Mogs if your kids are fussy eaters ( some great chic nuggets ).
Puerto Mogan is so nice, avoid Puerto Rico....unless you like Brit Bars & McDonalds !!!!

Room Tip: We had room E726, which is in the middle, so we had easy access to all three pools ( Infinity pool is the best !!

Tried Puerto de Mogan after having endured Puerto Rico in June. Mogan much quieter and the hotel is far better. Within walking distance of the Marina. 3 pools, snack bar, kid's entertainment seem way above average. Great location if you like cycling of the climbing variety. Wheelchair friendly, staff even more so. Classy and relaxing place. I don't do the towel thing, so haven't been bothered by it. I'd be more than happy to come back here. Slight downside is the strange numbering of floors and rooms. Top floors require 3 lifts with walks between. Not a big issue, but unexpected. If you have little children, come here.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 4th having decided the 7th with 3 lifts would be a chore. Very happy with 433.

Just returned from 2 weeks of relaxation in puerto mogan from 12th August to 26th August. The apartments and surroundings are spotless. The cleaning staff all work with a smile and every one we saw said hello and smiled. The reception staff majority of them are very helpful - 1 wasnt and didnt want seem to want to be either - bad day maybe.
The apartments - balconies were huge on the floor we were on (600`s) 2 sunbeds, shower, table and chairs with good views towards the port and tennis court. Fully equipped kitchen, beds were bearable, but room did get hot at night ceiling fans did little to ease but you can leave balcony door open at night which helped.

Pool - we mainly used the main pool and did not have an issue with sunbeds during our stay - yes there were some issues people not getting beds at 10am onwards where they wanted to sit but you have to expect this at 10am. I used to be one of the first down by the pool at around 8:20 am and have a swim - plenty of beds up to about 10am. The main issue was Saturdays the locals seem to come from everywhere and try to get beds, but then not return until 4:30. The hotel did put notices on beds and even saw them remove towels at one point.

Entertainment - was good and Silvan the entertainer was excellent with our son Declan and encouraged all to get involved and took the mickey out of everyone. The Water polo was always good fun and most guests looked forward to this in the afternoon everyone watching a group of mad men throwing a ball around and we even had 2 teenage sisters join in on the second week and they really enjoyed it (you know who you are). At least 4 activities daily - archery, shooting, tennis, darts etc

Gym - small 1 running machine, 1 bike, 2 steppers and about 6 weight machines and very hot

hotel bar at night - Poor (wild west for kids what we saw of it)

Pool bar - Will the Cuban makes superb cocktails - food only toasties - staff very very helpful and cheerful

Mogan - we were self catering so ate out every night - there are a number of restaurants on the front and harbour and each one we went in was very good - 2/3 courses with 2-3 rounds of drinks for 3 adults most we paid was 83 euros.Walk to beach is 10 minutes stroll

all in all good holiday and dont let sunbeds put you off.

Room Tip: higher floors have better views and bigger balconies
