Writing this whilst lying on our balcony at cordial mogan valle- so the WiFi is fine!! The holiday cost a bit more than we usually pay but this place is in a different class. It's beautifully clean and the rooms are trendy with good facilities if you are on self catering (as we are) The only negative about the place is lack of aircon. We knew it didn't have it but thought we would be ok - we hadn't expected a calima wind and temperatures over 40° last weekend. We have had some very uncomfortable nights and have had to sleep on the loungers on the balcony!! However after the winter we have had I shouldn't moan about being hot!! We booked breakfast for 4 days which was good value and better than booking at home. Lots of choice at breakfast, fresh fruit, all the continental bits and even hp sauce (no marmite though!!!)puerto mogan itself is lovely, so many restaurants. Our favourite so far is the zoo bar. Haven't eaten an evening meal at the apartments. My top tip for anyone coming to Mogan is DO NOT BOOK THE SHARED SHUTTLE. I stupidly ignored the advice to book a taxi and spent 2 hours in a bus going round every hotel in every resort, all in a 40° calima and it made me and my other half travel sick. We have booked a taxi back despite the extra cost. A great holiday but I would not come here in the height of summer due to lack of air on ( please install it and then it would be perfect!)

We have just come back from staying at the Cordial Valle april 13th. We never go to the same place twice but this time we did, and we were not disappointed. Again the apartment was lovely and clean and well equipped. We were half board, breakfast was ok but gets a bit boring by the end of the week. Bacon cooked to a crisp! Lovely lady does a nice omelette though. Dinner menu very good variety of fish and meat cooked to your liking. Only gripe one night they had a chocolate fountain on. Some children who were unsupervised were dipping their fingers and cocktail sticks ( used to put fruit on) into the chocolate, licking it off and repeating the procedure. Much to my and other guests discussed!

The staff in the hotel reception are lovely, very friendly and happy to help. The head waiter and his staff in the dinning room are always smiling and polite.

We enjoyed the stroll down to the beach the flowers and palms are beautiful. On a night time the owner of the pollo bar sings and plays spanish guitars with his family and friends. Its worth seeing!

We will return.....

Room Tip: Higher floor great balcony

Good value for money. Big balconies, spacious apartments, cleaned regularly. Good choice of pools - we always got a sun lounger when we went. Our kettle broke on the first night and was replaced in the morning - no hassle. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Puerto de Mogan itself is a good place to be - enough going on but not too busy. The beach is nice and the marina is a good place for a walk. Went to Palmitos Parks one day - I wasn't excepting too much, but was pleasantly surprised - it was a good day out.

You can read my two previous reviews from this hotel. The standard has not gone down. If you decide for an apartment hotel in Puerto Mogan I think this is the best alternative.
This time I must praise the service of the people working there, from the persons cleaning to the reception. Thank you for helping us when we wanted to change rooms because the strong wind on our balcony.
A nice meal in the restaurant. I could wish for a better programme with live music in the evenings. Why not cooperate with the neighbour hotel? Music for a bit elderly guests?

We have just returned from 2weeks over Easter at the Cordial Valle and what a little gem of a hotel and location this is !
This was our first time to Gran Canaria and we shall definately be returning. The Cordial Valle is a very well run hotel where all the staff are very friendly and only to happy to help. The fold away bed broke one morning and within 1/2 hour someone was up to fix it, the same when the main bathroom light went. The apartment was cleaned regulally and the maids gave extra soap, toliet roll etd as and when required.
It was a gentle 10-15 min stroll to the main beach and harbour and what a beautiful resort it is, however if you want bars and pumping music then this is not the place for you. If you like picturesque picture postcard fishing village, with oodles of restaraunts with sea views in a relaxed atmosphere then book here !
The hotel had evening entertainment -OK in our opinion, our boys 11&9 enjoyed the xbox night and most nights played with the mates they had made around the pool. There are 3 pools but spaced very far apart and so we found one which was quiet, one where most kids went to and one (the infinity pool) which was mainly frequented by the retired section of guests. The guests were a mixture of English, Scandanvian and German and it had a really nice cosmopolitan atmosphere. The apartments are a good size and balcolnies massive, could do with some more English TV channels to keep the kids quiet whilst getting ready to go out but that is a minor gripe. We shopped at the local Dino supermarket and tended to have breakfast and lunch self catered and then ate out at the restaraunts. The restaraunts were mainly good, especially the So Good Italian by the beach and Zoo does the most massive burgers and all you can eat ribs on certain nights. These were our favourites, but must say it wasnt cheap to eat out here, approx 80-100euros for 2 adults and 2 children including a couple of beers and soft drinks.
Overall we'd definately stay here again and it was a lovely relaxed hotel where you didnt feel pressurised to do anything or hassled to get up early to get a sunbed.

Room Tip: High up get better views and also more sun. We had i528 which had a ncie view of the mountains, smal...

Had a really nice stay in a lovely two bedroom two bathroom apartment,
lovely and clean, and the attention to detail was excellent even down to lights in the wardrobes as you opened the doors, however towards the end of our stay the weather warmed up and as the apartment didnt have air conditioning just fans i wouldnt much fancy the hot summer months but that is just personal preference. Booked a taxi transfer from the airport for 60 euros money well spent as this made the transfer much quicker, 120 euros in total for the round trip, Mogan is lovely for a real rest.

We stayed here in October 2012 ( a family of four). The apartments were lovely and clean and balcony was great, very big with sun loungers & table & chairs. We had a great view of mountains. The resort was beautiful with lovely restaurants that had a great setting either overlooking marina or beach. We have just booked to return in may . The whole place is a lovely hidden gem & the nicest place we have been to in canaries.
