We spent 12 days at this resort late July/Aug.We are two adults and a 9 yr old boy.We had a really relaxing time here.This place is spotlessly clean and there is a nice atmosphere, the family that run the apartments are really charming and friendly.Oasis has everything you need if you are looking for a nice holiday in a relaxing atmosphere.Would book again.

SandyBeach is great - 10 minute walk away.
Be careful with taxi cons. We ordered a taxi to the airport from the hotel (through the hotel) and gave him the money. €27 had been agreed with the hotel staff and driver. However we only had notes and he didn’t give us any change saying the rest was because we preordered. Word of advice: make sure you have the correct change.
Staff on the whole are very friendly.
Lake nearby (some rooms have a balcony to look over). Regardless it’s a 1 minute walk and the sunset is beautiful.
For a budget hotel it does the job.
5 minute walk to the start of the strip with restaurants.
Would go back to Tigaki.
Booked a last minute vacation to surprise my boyfriend.
As i didnt spend a fortune compared to other places we did not know what to expect. But we were totally positively surprised. The location is great: in walking distance to the center, stores and beach, but outside the center so you can a actually enjoy the quiet. The pool was - and im very picky when it comes to this - very clean. And breakfast was lovely, served on the terrace with a mix of local and international style.

The negative reviews on here, are wide of the mark. It is a budget venue, but I have no complaints at all. Clean, friendly, the food is very good, and not expensive at all.
If your kids are being shouted at, it's because your parenting skills are lacking. No-one wants a kid with an injury from running on wet tiled floors. Hence the concern from the owner. Understand???
The human touch is missing from some tourists, but you give us chilled folk something to laugh at, so thanks for being Nobs.
Thoroughly recommend OASIS, for a cheap family break. We will be back next year no doubt. As for insects in the room..

This is not the Ritz but you are not paying Ritz prices. The rooms are basic but are a good size. The whole hotel seems to be kept spotlessly clean The kitchens are basic but typical of Greek apartments, bed comfy, linen and towels changed three times a week. The pool is spacious and the new sunbeds are comfy. I don't understand a couple of reviews that mention unfriendly staff. The staff were all great. They may not speak that much English but they speak more English than I do Greek. Just treat people with respect and good humour and they will respond in the same way. We did get the bus into Kos town and noticed that food and drink prices were about 30% higher than in Tygaki. Good range of reasonably priced snack food available at the bar adjacent to the pool. So overall an great place for a budget family holiday. PS the air conditioning is an extra here as it is in most greek/turkish budget hotels.
The people who run the hotel are horrible. All they do is shout at the guests, if you have children do not stay here as the staff are extremely unfriendly and tell the kids off for everything. They will only give you 1 key for a 4 bed apartment and even told us off when we asked them to unlock the door as we forgot the key inside. The only nice ones are the cleaners. Although the hotel is disgustingly dirty all over. I have watched other families being shouted at by the owner for jumping in the pool and even for ringing their towels out. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone unless you fancy a prison experience.
