Just returned from a weeks stay at the Marianna Studios. The place is very clean and the rooms are large, a couple of things that let it down for us were the bathroom which was very small and when you had a shower it left a very wet floor, also the room we had was noisy as it was on the ground floor and near the bar. But saying that the apartments were very good value for money.
I have stayed at the Marianna Studios during May 2013. What a great place for the price, vey good value. The apartments are quite spacious and are kept very clean on a daily basis. The staff are very friendly and I found that nothing was too much for them especially Stella who runs the pool cafeteria and Bar. The pool is good as are the sunbeds. The cocktail bar is well equipped, stocked well, serves very good cocktails and plays some wonderful lounge music during the evening. I will certainly visit the Marianna Studios in the future.
Our first visit to KOS was in 1992. Being moderate cyclists, we chose Tingaki after checking the location as being in the flat part of the island. Since then we have visited Tingaki almost every year but it took a few years before we, via our friends found the perfect accommodation ~ The Marianna Appartments. In 1997 we married in KOS TOWN and several of our friends few over from the UK to be with us, most secured accommodation at the Marianna. Hearing their comments as to how good the appartments were, we returned the following year to stay with the Hatzadonis family and have been making an annual pilgrimage since. Staff from our first visit still work there, something that confirms that the Marianna is a well run family business. We are about to return this year [ 2013 ] . . cannot wait !!!

The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious with fridge, TV, kettle & hob. Cleaned every day bar Sunday.
The pool area is again spotless with a good pool side cafe/bar. Plenty of parasols if you need a break from the sun as the pool area gets the sun all day.
The couple who run the place are very friendly & as it was low season we kept our room on departure day until 5pm at no extra cost. The bar area is very nice.
The resort itself is on a long street and you hit the 1st shops/bars/restuarants within 2 mins of the Marianna. The beach is less than 10 mins away. The resort has good restaurants. I didn't have a bad meal. My personal favorite was Mylos. There are bars to sit and chat, watch sport and music bars.
I'd be happy to return to Tigaki & i would stay at Marianna again.
The Marianna studios live up to everything i read on trip advisor. Good sized rooms, with plenty of storage space. Spotlessly clean & good beds. We were 2 hours late arriving due to Ryanair flying from Leeds/Bradford to Kos via Croatia to refuel!!! Nothing was too much trouble & thankfully we were able to get a much needed drink at the bar, despite the fact it was almost 1 a.m when we arrived. Stella who ran the snack bar was also very helpful. A lovely lady. Hopefully we will be going back later in the summer. I cant wait as i haven,t been warm since i got back!!
My partner and I stayed here in earlyJune. Very clean, newly refurbished. Bar area lovely, and pool area. On the main road away from the beach, but a nice walk past shops, bars etc. We had a room on top floor facing away from the main road, towards the salt lake so had a great view. There was an electric kettle, a flat screen tv and a microwave in our room, all of which amazed us. The kettle was well used, the microwave was not as so many great restaurants nearby. There were also mozzie screens on doors and windows, which were essential as, having been to Kos a couple of times before, I have never seen (or been bitten by) so many. Major relief to get back to our room and know we were safe from the things! Very impressed by this place, the most pristine basic apartments we have stayed at in Greece, and we are staying here again in July this year.
Would recommend the restaurant at Sunshine Apartments, great food & lovely friendly family. Spyros Restaurant, delicious kleftiko. Aphrodite, turn right where main road meets beach, really nice spot to be on the beach, very friendly and they'll bring you drinks! Sagittarius restaurant, next door to Marianna, great food & service.
