This was our second stay at this accomodation and it was as good if not better than the first. Katerina welcomed us back like family, we had the same rooms as last year so it really was like home from home. She also left cakes on our arrival and when she did some home baking we always were given some cake and on one occasion cheese pies to take to the beach. Yummy!
As for Tingaki itself it was noticably quieter than last year, one local described the last two weeks of June being like October in respect of number of visitors. We didn't notice any significant increase in prices, meals in tavernas were around the same although portion control seems to have come into play. Sunbeds and brollys were still E6, petrol is more expensive than the UK. There is a new Turkish bath opened, didn't use it ourselves but understand it costs around E30. There are also a couple of fish foot spas opened, E10/12 for 30/35 minutes once again didn't use them. Just spent our time on the beach, lunching each day at Ifestos taverna, once again we were welcomed back like friends. We mostly ate in the evenings at Milos, Mythos and Sagitarrius. We did go into Kos town one evening however the bus timetable had not changed and the last bus back was at 9.00p.m did hear a rumour that this was going to stay the same throughout the season. We will definately be back again
