We have stayed in this hotel for the last fourteen years for our yearly ladies golf break. We have always found it to be extremely good value for money. The staff are very pleasant and helpful ,always ready to help solve any problems that arise . It's nice to be greeted by smiling faces in reception and throughout the hotel from cleaning staff to waiting and bar staff .The rooms are clean and comfortable,we always have the same set of rooms and these are in the older part of the hotel, but that is our choice,we like the positioning of these rooms. The food is very very good from the choices at breakfast through to the snacks for lunch and the delicious choices in the evening . I personally cannot fault the service provided by this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a golfing break ,the courses provide some testing golf and are well looked after. The pro shop staff are also very helpful and friendly. All in all a good place to be ,roll on our 2014 break.

We stayed here for the last two nights of our honeymoon. It was a lovely room we got upgraded to and had a lovey view of the golf courses. The staff were all excellent in their attitude and helpfulness. Whist the breakfast was not the best the bar meals and dinner was much better. A full english breakfast does not consist of 5 items or less (in my opinion). Nice swimming pool and gym and shop loaned me a half set of clubs to go to the driving range. Well situated for Norwich and Cromer. I agree to a previous comment about some rooms being hard to find but searching for it for 5 mins is not too much of a hardship.

Spent 3 days there recently and was very disappointed.
The championship course was in terrible condition, hardly any grass on the fairways and very hard fairways despite the water on most holes. the bunkers looked like they had builders sand in them and never raked (destroyed my 8 iron)

The valley course( the short one ) was actually a much better course, it flowed better and was generally in good condition (shame we didn't play that course 3 times).

The hotel is extremely basic at 3 stars with food that is OK. No baths in the rooms offered just a shower.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful but they cannot make up for this tired resorts shortcomings.

As you can guess, I won't be going back!

this is mainly a golf club, with a good gym/ health club
The rooms are a good size and clean and tidy enough, if a little dated. The bed was comfy and the shower fine in the room I had. Most rooms I think have a view over the golf course, mine didn't
The breakfast is fair, and the evening meal OK nothing too brilliant but edible and enjoyable enough.
My one criticism would be that the one was like a sauna, really hot despite the heating being off. There was no A/C and no fan to even try to cool the room down
I would stay here again, but mainly for the fact that the gyma nd pool are good and it is close to norwich for work visits

We stayed over for one night after a wedding reception there. The complex has no character at all but, this was not a problem for us. The hotel reception was good and the room was OK.
A bit confusing finding the room but we got there eventually. The room was large, more than a lot of hotels.
The bathroom was grim. The lighting was poor, the room small, the shower cubicle grubby, the extractor fan was powered by a helicoptor engine! Not a good impression.
I personally don't play golf but, due to the hot weather, we left the window open all night.
At 7 o'clock sharp - whack! the first golf balls were leaving the first tee which was outside our room. It was a lovely morning so we didn't mind.
As far as hospitality goes, we couldn't fault the facilities. The wedding reception was perfect, the staff great, plenty of room, food excellent, good breakfast, good car park.
The hotel rooms just need sprucing up that's all.
