Have stopped here numerous times on our business visits to the Norwich area.
The large clean rooms are excellent value for money as are the ample breakfasts.
There isn't a lot of atmosphere in the bar area in the evening but the meals are good.
Staff have always been efficient and friendly... no complaints at all really.

Travelled on business. Found the place ok but it did not look like on the website at all! Much worse in real life; bunch of brick uninviting bulidings and massive but poorly maintained car-park. On arrival had to walk through a very long corridor to find reception area (dated), staff was helpful there and then only. Was told I will be staying in executive suite (!?) room 52 and was handed a key with most monstrous key ring remembering early 70's. Was given guidance to my room but noone offered to help me with my luggage. Had to go outside (again through lenghty corridors) to find where room 52 is and then all the way back as could not find it and noone was available to guide me. Finally found the place. Room was massive, so was bathroom but decor was atrocious (time travel to dodgy 70's motel). Furniture was put in most haphazard way and not functional at all. Bedding clean but bed cover and sofa were stained. Bathroom was clean but dated as badly as the room. Towels clean but hanging on a rack that was too small and barely warming them up. Floor in the bathroom looked exactly like in the public toilet on the car-park or camping site. Caffetiere was stocked with cheapest possible products, cups miniscule. Room was cleaned daily for me but somehow place was not welcoming. Staff apart from reception and one lady at the bar was not interested in helping anybody. Bar was unwelcoming and cold. Restaurant overpriced with poor quality meals. Cooked breakfast choices were not great. Cereal choice: 2 types only, limp looking tinned fruit, one type of yoghurt, no croissants, processed and stale buns, tiny mass production jams... Had to ask for coffee, then had a minisule cup and had to wait again to get more... Bussiness lunch was provided 3 days in a row, food was tasteless and looked like it was cooked from frozen not freshly prepared. Had a chance to try all 3 dishes out of buffet on each occasion searching for something eatable. To my horror i have noticed the same dishes on the restaurant menu! I would be complaining and refuse to pay if it was served to me as a restaurant meal!
Wifi was available and I was given a password for 72h access. It was very weak and did not work most of the time. Mobile coverage was very poor as well.
Spa and beauty facilities were over advertised as well. None of them worth the price, not available on short booking and not easy to find or access and of doubtful cleanliness to add to all this.
Place is advertised as family owned and run. I felt like it's a forgotten and unloved place with too many areas to maintain to reasonable standard. I would have not paid full price for the service and quality of accomodation I had. Will not be returning and would strongly discourage any visitors.

I recently spent two nights here with my wife. The rooms were fairly basic, poorly laid out and in need of modernisation. There was much noise coming from the above floor during the night and the plumbing seemed to puff & hiss a lot when flushing the loo!

The staff and the facilities in the common areas were good. The bar - v.good with bar meals being served.

The leisure facility Golf, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym etc were fantastic and the changing facilities clean and well kept.

The restaurant also provided excellent food & good service.

This is obviously a popular venue for "Golf Societies" and there were several there when we stayed. Both small and large groups were all well catered for in the bar and restaurant both in the evening and at breakfast and all groups were very well behaved and in good humour.

The groups of golfers were naturally in high spirits - the bars were open pretty much all the time (officially closed between 4am - 9am) and we saw many people enjoying a few cans of their own provision prior to the first tee at 7am!

I would recommend for a group of lads going on a golf trip - this is not a romantic hotel for couples!

I stayed here overnight on a course recently. Firstly, the staff are nice, attentive and very disciplined, you can't fault the staff. The rooms are small and not well designed (in my room you can't stand in front of the wash basin as the shower enclosure occupies same space). The decor is completely out of date, horrible drap wallpaper and fake veneer furniture. Every single table in the restaurant and bar is wonky. The gym is surprisingly well equipped although the machines are old, they are seem well maintained. The changing rooms double as a swimming pool, there is something of an art to get changed and keep your feet dry.
The food was reasonable and priced competitively.
Bottom line, this hotel badly needs a refit, but the staff are lovely and the prices are reasonable.

Room Tip: rooms 40 to 50 are best

Staying here during a house move/relocation and we found the rooms to be comfortable and depending on which room you get will vary in size, comfort and the updated appearance. However it must be said that one evening during a very busy dinner service I had asked for a certain meal which was not on the menu but the chef made it especially, despite being busy, without any fuss! What fantastic service!

what can i say....average hotel very cheap one night break £80 including two rounds of golf.

The hotel is fine food was adequate but the golf course was in shocking condition. Ok you go in october and expect rough greens as this is the time of year when hollow tyning happens but the fairways were awful, playing winter rules already and you could see why. There was barely a patch of grass on which to place the ball.

The pool was ok, beds uncomfortable,

If a keen golfer avoid until next summer and they get the course sorted....paly pool or snooker...at least the tables are green unlike the golf course.
