“Excellent Beginning to our Honeymoon”

We stayed at the Tenthouse Suites, amazing views, romantic and warm atmosphere. The tenthouse had a propane fireplace, jacuzzi big enough for 2 people well over 6ft tall, great shower, heated tile floors, a bathroom you would not even know was there..... I was expecting it to be great from the website but it was even more wonderful than I expected. The food is a tad pricey but it is a great dining experience - so good and worth it. We saw squirrels, black tailed deer and loons on the property, and of course amazing sunsets. The area surrounding has plenty of hiking, and little shops to visit.

Room Tip: tenthouse suites are our only experience, but wow! Number 59 is towards the end of the elevated brid...

On business and for a one night stay took advantage of their fall special which included breakfast for $119 plus taxes. The room very dated but clean, bathroom very tiny (not kidding!!), bed comfortable and the room had a balcony with a great oceanview.Dinner expensive but amazing and the breakfast which was included in the price was very good.

Room Tip: The Ocean view rooms an older basic dated small motel type room with two double beds an old style TV...

We enjoyed our weekend here so much we had to come back. First experience was staying in a 3 bdrm cottage which was pretty good - the showerhead was rather low, but other than that it was perfect.
Our return visit we opted to stay in one of the "tents." We were blown away when we opened the door and that excitement just never ended. The setting was divine (perched on a rock cropping over the ocean); the amenities first class - the bed and beding extremely comfortable, the jacuzzi tub large and comfortable, the separate slate tiled shower had a lovely showerhead, and the convenience fridge even had cream in it for coffee in the morning! We enjoyed watching the sun set from our spacious deck, fell asleep to the flickering faux wood stove, and reveled in waking to the sounds of waves lapping on the shore.
All in all I would say this is a must. Spend the extra and get a tent. It is "camping" for the non-camper!

Room Tip: Tents are the best for couples. Cottages are nice for young couples sharing a space.

I went to Rockwater Secret Cove Resort for a wedding and my friends couldn't have picked a more beautiful venue. Although quite pricey at $300 a night, I stayed by myself in one of the tent suites. It was very clean and well laid out. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was great to wake up to the ocean view each morning. The tents are very cozy due to a small fireplace, heated tile floors and plush linens. They even offer room service in the tents. I would recommend the resort for a relaxing weekend escape, as a couple or solo!

The only draw backs were two squirrels that some how found their way into my tent and the flapping of the tent's roof when the winds picked up. There are also a lot of bugs so be sure to bring bug spray.

Room Tip: Stay in the tent suites! The cabins and hotel rooms are dated and don't have very good views.

We stayed in one of the ocean view rooms. It could certainly do with a refurbish. To wash in the bathroom you were standing with the back of your legs against the toilet it was so small. The webbing on the seats on the balcony was broken. Breakfast was way over priced even charging for tea and coffee. We had dinner one evening the meal was OK but the portions were meagre. I placed the above comments on their survey to be told in reply that our accommodation was only 3 star. This certainly isn't mentioned anywhere on their website and the prices certainly didn't reflect that. The main building or as they euphemistically call it the 'Lodge' looks like a motel. Their main emphasis seems to be the tents and the people staying in them everything else looked in need of an upgrade. it was such a disappointment given the lovely location.

We stayed at the Rockwater this past Thursday and Friday night and had a wonderful time. The tents are beautiful and look just like they do in the pictures. The heated tile floor was bliss. We ordered champagne for our room upon arrival and sat out on the private deck to watch the sunset. Dinner was great at the main lodge, they focus on local ingredients so our Halibut was very fresh.

I highly recommend the Rockwater to anyone in the lower mainland area. Super easy to get to and the Guestfolio planner they provide makes sure you remember everything.

My husband and I have been going to this resort for a number of years. Three or four times a year. There has been a number of staff changes but levi has been there from when we started going here. He is incredible and always happy to see us and will bend over backwards to make our stay excellent. If we have any tiny oroblem he always helps us.We consider him a very good friend. We were here a couple of days ago and oh boy. There was no fancy tub because it was broken. That was ok . I had my bubbles. The next day I had no hot water. Neither did anyone else.We are not one to complain but a few of the staff members could learn a few things about from Levi. His beautiful personality and demenour. So in closing we hope to see him there next time. He is one of the reasons we go back over and over again.Sincerely helen .

Room Tip: pool side rooms are the best
