We were recommended this hotel from the receptionist at Beach House Hotel as we wanted to stay another night on the island and they were booked. I thought was odd there were no reviews on this hotel but we thought one night is not a big deal. First of all we were told this a beautiful hotel and breakfast is included. The bungallows are not bad, they were only 5 with a tiny pool, the bungallows were made of wood and you can see outside thru some cracks which is not a problem unless you stay close to the moschee and the prayer call 5 times a day on the megaphone can keep you up all night. We stayed there the night before Ramadam and the prayers started before 4 pm and it went to midnight, I thought I will loose my mind. My earplugs take care of 28 decibels but did not help. At 11 pm I was awaken by some loud banging on the bungallow wall. I went outside around teh property and next door was Hook Hotel. Behind our bungallows the help lived in a tiny room with a small dirty yard, they were laying on our bungallow wall and they were washing all the dishes from the hotel big buckets of water, right there on the ground. I gave them a nasty look, they knew they were leaning on a wall and behind we were sleeping, they stopped talking loud and tried to wash the dishes as quite as possible but still, this is not acceptable for Drupadi Management to allow something like this. In the morning I was so exausted, I just wanted to check into another hotel and go to bed. Breakfast came and I was hoping to a nice meal with a yummy coffee, I was surprised when they say that the hotel does not offer breakfast at the hotel but they have an agreement with another hotel and we could use their premisses. We walked aproximative 300-400 m to a terrace and they only offered white bread wth butter and jelly although they had a menu for full breakfast. It was the most depressive breakfast we had in 16 days in Indonesia.
Bottom line is this hotel is overpriced for what it is and we were mislead by Beach House Hotel. Unless there is no other room around don't settle for this hotel. The room was $55 and we paid the same at Tir Na Nog Hotel which is right on the main street, plus it had a big pool, a bigger and quite bungallow plus a big breakfast and full staff and owner on the site. Beach House Hotel was just $10 extra and it was even better.
