Description: The beach side Sidewalk Cafe offers dining on a beach side location. This venue is not to be missed for dinner, offering a Seafood Grill & Buffet, where you can choose a selection of fresh seafood taken straight from the sea in front of you, choose how it is cooked, then tuck in to a selection of sides at the buffet provided.Sidewalk Cafe is also open for lunch and serves home-made wood-fired pizza as well as a simple a-la carte menu that you can enjoy while you marvel at the ocean views.Accompanying the Sidewalk cafe is our Blue Beach Bar, featuring a slamming live band 4 nights a week. For an island experience why not try an afternoon “Kelapa Muda”, (young coconut juice) while you watch the twilight descend upon the beach in front of you.

“Good Black Pepper Beef”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

I especially like the black pepper beef. I find the seafood just so-so. I think the black pepper was one of the best I've tasted ever (and the dish is so common, being the best in that is an honor). I like that they are located on the beach but that's all.

“A little pricey but very good”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

The night we are here there was terrible rain and the staff had to ferry the food from the kitchen across a pathway into the restaurant and they did so without affecting the quality of the food or their happy demeanour. The food served probably isn't as authentic as some other places you might come across but it is of a very high standard. Would recommend it for sure.

“Did their chefs even attend cooking school??”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

We have just stopped in at Villa Ombaks restaurant for a dessert on our way back to Trawangan resort. It was a terrible experience from start to finish!! I ordered a machiato which arrived in a tall glass like a liquor coffee would be served in and was filled with a milky brew?? I had to tell the waitress that a machiato is an espresso coffee with a dollop of foam on top. She very nicely replaced it with the correct one. Then 3 of us ordered the Molten chocolate cake with brandy sauce and my husband the Banana fritters after about 40 minutes the desserts arrived. ( there was only one other table in the restaurant)
The molten chocolate cake was about the size of a large thimble and was refrigerator cold.It was so hard it was difficult to get the spoon into it and it had a very unusual texture. It looked and tasted old and stale. The brandy sauce was all stringy. It was so bad we could not eat it. We explained to the waitress that a molten chocolate cake in our country was a soft chocolate sponge cake with a runny molten centre she apologized and offered to replace these with the flourless chocolate cakes served with ice cream, this she assured us was soft and warm.... Sounded good. When that arrived we couldn't help but laugh....there were 3 small sticks that looked like chocolate bars but had the texture of a chewy nougat lined up on the plate and then a thimble size chocolate cup with a small scoop of ice cream. Where is the cake we asked???? Apparently the chocolate bars were it??
This was slight improvement on the first dish but we only consumed about 1/3 of the dessert as it was very sickly and the ice cream not nice with big pieces of ice in it.
My husbands banana fritters were also dreadful the banana inside was all hard and dry like a old plantain and had the same ice cream with ice chunks.
We parted with NZD 50 and left disgusted with the food. We have eaten all over Bali and never had such terrible food served to us. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE!!

Wonderfully landscaped pool and garden area. The beachside location makes for an easy life and beautiful views of the sea.
