“Choose your weeks carefully and have a fab time.....”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

We stayed two weeks all-inclusive at the Atlantic. The first week was so quiet as the hotel was only a quarter full-lovely! The second week was such a contrast as ,once full, the hotel became a different beast and much noisier due to large family groups arriving as school half-term approached. That said, after eleven at night things got calmer and there was no problem getting a good night's sleep.
We had a studio apartment on the fourth floor overlooking the pool (room 413).Lovely view from the balcony of the pool, children's play area and ,in the distance, the sea and pine-covered hills.Nice sunsets as a bonus.
The room was spacious with a modern design, and had a sofa bed at one end and twin beds near the entrance. If you like hard mattresses, like I do, then you'll love it. If not, you are in for a very uncomfortable time.
Only criticism was the layout of the bathroom -small bath with overhead shower was ok, but the shower screen was unable to move due to the position of the sink so it was difficult to get in and out of the bath. For senior citizens and those with any kind of back problem this could prove difficult.
TV was a small flat screen with Sky News and BBC News as well as several foreign language channels.Nice touch was the tea and coffee making facilities.Even though we were on all-inclusive it was still nice to wake up in the morning and make a cuppa before breakfast.
If you didn't make breakfast then from 10:30 onwards Kerry at the snack bar would provide you with toasties and other grilled delights. You could even wash it down with a coffee served by Alberto and his staff at the bar.
If you did manage to make it to the restaurant, then you would be faced with a reasonable buffet which at dinner was themed and repeated after a week. The staff in the restaurant, ably led by Fernando, did a good job of setting up the tables and keeping the customers happy.
The pool area had really good sunbeds and we had no problem getting two under an umbrella, although in the second week this wasn't as easy. At least we didn't have to join any queues.
The snack tables need a facelift, as does the whole bar area. It was reminiscent of a working men's club in the seventies!
The hotel is situated around the corner from the main street in Es Canar,a perfect spot to stroll down to the seashore or the beach.
The resort hasn't changed much in the twenty years since our last visit, and is just the tonic at the end of the summer. We were very lucky with the weather , having temperatures in the high twenties and lots of sunny days.A nice place to be.
My overwhelming memory of the hotel will be the friendliness of the staff.Any criticisms I have of the hotel amount to very little when looked at as a whole. I'd go back in an instant.

Room Tip: High room . Pool view.

We stayed here for 10 nights from the 9th till 19th september 2013. There were 10 of us in our group and we all had the most fantastic time. The entertainment team looked after the 4 children we had with us perfectly,( the best entertainment team i've come across).
The food at the hotel was excellent lots of variety everyday. all the restaurant staff were very friendly. The snack bar is also very good again plenty of choice.
The pool was fantastic we spent alot of time at the smaller pool which is ideal. The main pool is also fab (the kids loved jumping in).

The hotel is spotless there is absolutely nothing to complain about. we booked a studio but on arrival had been given a two bedroom apartment. ( that was just for three of us so plenty of room)
Reception staff, Room maids, bar staff all the staff very friendly and helpful.
we were here when there was a power cut and have to say we didn't have problem our corridors were not dark when the fire doors shut( we were on 1st floot)

All in All this hotel is fabulous and we will definitely be returning next year .we have already booked :).

We stopped for 11 nights and we loved every minute of our holiday, The food was not always brilliant but there is enough choices and the snack bar which is open 10:30-6:30 where food is cooked to order.
The entertainment team were great and always kind and friendly with all children. Both my children took to Sol straight away she was great with them, encouraged them to get involved with most activitys.
Most of the staff were lovely to everyone, Fernando,Alberto,Chris,Sarah,Bart made time to have a little joke with the children and all the maids were nice polite and clean rooms everyday. The holiday was great from beginning to end :)

Having recently returned from a short break at the Atlantic we were thoroughly delighted! I went with my 6 year old daughter and friends. The children had a fabulous time with the entertainment staff and ollie octopus. Rooms were lovely, we had all inclusive but the sc equipment looked good. The food was excellent and thought there was something to cater for all tastes in the restaurant....our kids loved going up to help themselves (especially the desserts!) entertainment was good we saw a professional show and it was lovely to see the bar staff even enjoying it dancing to the music. All in all an excellent stay, would def return...next time hopefully for longer!

On entering the hotel it was clear the place is kept spotless. The outside was tidy and well maintained. There was disabled access to the hotel. The reception staff were fast and very friendly. Oncan we checked in, we went in the lift to our room. Please note, the lift are small and one person and a suitcase is a comfortable fit although we managed. The room was a good size with a fridge, setee and balcony. The beds were comfortable but squeaked a lot! ( to open your door put your card against the black box, it doesn't slide into a slot)
The food was OK but one night we did eat out. They attempted to make Yorkshire puddings but they were not nice :( the beef and other meat were beautiful. There was a snack bar open til 6 pm although I don't think it was open when the dining room was serving lunch etc. The drinks were good. You would have tea coffee cocktails or spirits on the all inclusive. The entertainment was brilliant most nights. I loved the acrobats from Beijing and the birds. The pool was clean and the entertainment team ( especially sol who I m now friend with on face book!) Were amazing. All in all, a cracking little hotel :)

We are a fifty plus couple, this hotel is child orientated. I don't dislike children but do not want to have them in my face all day screaming and shouting in the pool. The pool area is very small for the size of the hotel so I felt my space was being invaded. We were 4th floor pool view which was great at first, the room had a very strange lay out with a minute kitchenette, we were room only so could not comment on the food. Other reviews have mentioned rooms facing the road were
noisey pool facing rooms did not fare any better thanks to Freddie and Julies bar about 500 meters away they were open well into the morning (03.30-04.00) so sleep not easy to obtain. when the bar mentioned closed the cockerels and dogs took over at 05.30 (sleeping tablets required) We will not be returning to this hotel. We have been to Ibiza many times and will return again.

We have never been to Ibiza before so we didn't no what to expect. we arrived on sept 7th till 14th, stayed with our 2 boys aged 12 and 15, we had a top floor studio with stunning views all around us it was a double bed for the boys was a bit small so went to speak to reception who were very nice and made up another bed for us. the entertainment gang were fab our 13 year old love getting evolved in everything, as we were out of season they was no need to que for a sun bed they were always available any time of day, the pool was not busy even enough room for a few inflatables which everyone shared. the snack bar is where our boys spent most of the time, Kerry was the chef and was lovely you could ave pizza, hot dogs, chips ,salads, toastes, baked potatoes, chicken nuggets etc it was great. the food in the main restaurant was lovey to a buffet style selection with a lot of choice. we went to hippy market its about 15mins walk it was great we went early lots of nic nacks. also worth a vist the Kentucky derby just over the road they were so funny, you don't go for the prizes we were called the Yorkshire puds. the weather was hot and sunny except the wed when we had a storm that knocked out the power to the island didn't spoil it. we are planning on returning next year again out of season as the school hols are very busy. this is the best holiday yet, thanks to all the staff who couldn't do enough for us........
