Really authentic Spanish restaurant. Lovely laid back atmosphere with friendly Spanish staff giving excellent service. The entrecôte steak was absolutely superb! A must for all foodie's visiting Ibiza.

“Be brave”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

This is not a high quality a la cart restaurant but the food is good and the setting and atmosphere is magical. You wouldn't think so by the appearance from the outside but don't be put off, be brave its well worth a visit. The overall experience is a delight and live music from a songbird with a guitar from about 9.00pm onwards made for a great evening. So good we went back twice. Also try fish and tonic at cala nova beach.

“A great evening.”
Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

We found this restaurant on trip advisor before we went to Es Cana and decided we must try it. I'm so glad we did, what an unexpected find! It looks like a building not a restaurant from outside, but walking in takes you in to the most unusual hippy/Spanish atmosphere. There isn't a lot on the menu, but I have to suggest trying the tapas to start followed by the steak. It is all cooked fresh on the BBQ whilst a man sits at the bar playing his guitar and singing. The only problem we had was one meal came late, but they were very apologetic and even the chef came over to apologise and explained it was his mistake. We still had an excellent evening and will be going again next time we are in Es Cana.

“what?”

Trip advisor top restaurant? we walked past twice due to no signage and the fact that even up close the outside area looked and felt abandoned so another one that we didn't stay at!

“Very disappointed”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

We had read many good reviews of this restaurant and was so looking forward to visiting. However on the chosen night they only had 1 waitress, who was totally run off her feet. Having said that her customer service skills were non existent. First we waited at least 40 mins for her to take our drinks order and after the reading about the home made sangria we opted for this, which she moaned about as it would take her too long. When we asked for a second jug she flatly refused us and told us she wouldn't have time to chop the fruit. The homemade bread was excellent but the main meal was over spiced and we struggled to eat it. At that point we left, so had no more drinks or a dessert. The place itself was totally lovely and unique but we were left gutted. People near to us didn't get their starter until after their main course. The music was lovely and if it is to thrive some thought needs to go into planning. Unemployment is so high in Spain, so I am sure they could find some reserve staff for when staff don't turn up. Also the fruit could be chopped up for Sangria before opening. My friends and I would not return.
