The family are wonderful hosts, very warm and welcoming. Location nice and peaceful - a few tavernas to choose from. Food generally quite good - will say though if you have a smaller appetite either order off the childrens menu or ask for half portions where possible!!

Room Tip: sea view best

It is hard to add more than what has already been said only to say that every review about this hotel is true.

We had a brilliant time and would love to go back. Dimitris and the family are the kindest and most attentive hosts I have ever come across who really do make this place special and give your stay that extra something. They are supported by a wonderful and fun staff who along with Karen the rep add even more to your stay.

The hotel is immaculate, kept brilliantly clean by a lovely team of cleaners. It is surrounded with beautiful flowers kept by Dina and against the beautiful backdrop of San Georgios bay. Its pure escapism. The rooms are small but perfectly formed with lovely new bathrooms. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in. It has an excellent restaurant with brilliant dishes. We only dined out once the whole two weeks and although the quality was good the quality in the hotel was excellent. The evening entertainment is fantastic - DJ Dimitri, Karen's quizzes, Spiros's bingo and the greek dancing - were all highlights.

The only downside is that some (and by no means all) of the regular guests and can make anyone not conforming to the way they like the hotel feel unwelcome. This is NOTHING to do with the family or the team and purely down to guests.

Aside from this small issue, it seems the hotel's well deserved reputation is leading to even greater popularity and I fear it will be harder to revisit each year as many do. However this excellent hotel in a fabulous location with wonderful facilities is the reason for the regular visits and you absolutely understand why.

Thank you to all the family and team and the brilliant Karen (the best and most helpful Thomson rep I've ever experienced) for a wonderful stay and I hope to be back soon - I've left a little of my heart there.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor facing the pool and the sea but we had a lovely big balcony which was a...

Everything everyone said about this hotel is true.

We can understand why people keep going back there..Am sure we'll be joining them
Never anything but excellent service from this lovely family and all the staff and always with a smile in a beautifully presented hotel.
Little extras that make a difference.. from chilled water, use of laptop, free safe and aircon to the the welcome "home" after a late evening trip
Lovely breakfast included but can get extras if wanted. Evening meals as good as anywhere and better than the couple we had elswhere
Go if you want a relaxing quiet holiday (we were there !st week Oct) but with fun entertainment and a good laugh with friendly fellow guests in the evenings.
Karen, the Thomson Rep is a star. Mozzies loved my husband...Karen made sure we had anti histamines and after bite gel the morning after we had spoken to her.. thankyou Karen

Room Tip: First floor sea view room

Just to echo the sentiments of previous reviewers on here that this a great hotel to stay for a break staff, rooms and service are top draw. We found the restaurant in the hotel excellent and to be honest was up there with the best in the resort itself. For a day out get the bus outside the hotel to Corfu Town or arrange a boat trip on the beach to nearby Paleokistrista. If your feeling up for it walk up the hill at the end of the resort to the village of Afonias (pack plenty of water) for amazing views, there are two small beaches beyond the two tavernas at Afionias we got there early the day we went and head our own private beach two ourselves for an hour or two before some boats turned up.

If your after bar crawls/night clubs this won't be the place for you, you can get a cab to nearby Sidari for about 20-30 euros to do that if you want (but you should be based in Sidari already really), but the resort itself is generally laid back for couples and families and long may that continue.

This is a fairly small family-run establishment set in a quiet but very scenic part of Corfu. The Kourkoulos family (Dina, Dimitri, Spiros and Anastasia) run a very well maintained complex where it is obvious they take great pride in their hotel and re-invest in continuously improving it - which is refreshing these days. From getting off the coach to getting back on a week later they and all their staff from waiters to cleaners could not have been more welcoming, hard-working and accommodating to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible. It is also refreshing that such things as room safes, air-conditioning and WiFi (reception area only) are included in the price - a rarity nowadays!

The in-house Restaurant food was good quality and value for money with a broad selection of local and international dishes available. Entertainment was good with something on most nights (Karaoke, Greek Night, Quiz etc) - more enjoyable than we have experienced in many so-called 4* Hotels.

If you are looking for a laid-back relaxing break at a small, clean, well-maintained and very friendly hotel, I have experienced few places around the world that would beat the Costas Golden Beach in Corfu. Thanks to everyone at the Hotel for making our holiday that much more memorable and we definitely plan to go back!

We also have to mention the Thomson Rep – Karen. By far the best holiday Rep we have experienced in many years of holidaying. The arrival briefing was very entertaining and it was the first time we had a (very useful) departure brief as well. She was also integral to the success of much of the evening entertainment in the Hotel, despite not being based there. Many thanks Karen and hope to see you again when we return!

Just returned from two very pleasant weeks in the hotel. Thank you again to all the family and staff, for providing us with a perfect break. A special thank you, too, for Karen, the intrepid Thomson rep whose enthusiasm, helpfulness, fun and sheer, non-stop hard graft are a miracle to behold. Not forgetting the lovely cleaners, who have a lot to do and do it to perfection. The entire experience was flawless. We hope your success continues. Brian and Natasha.

Room Tip: Mosquitoes in Corfu are legended to be man-eaters, and in that sort of environment I am used to bein...
