Stay at hotel from 10-21 of July. Beach is very nice, lovely and sandy and the sea is beautiful. Little windy at afternoons. Everybody pays for sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach even all-inclusive guests. There is three big pools and one for small children but the water always looks blurry.
Food: A lot of food but poor quality (poorly cooked meat, vigorous, mainly pork, fatty, for desserts mainly jelly and custard and one kind of cake with three different dressings not very yummy) I could not help feeling that the soup is just-mixed remnants of the previous dinner, very spicy.
And the most important thing- all glasses and dishes were not clean. We had to look at the glass against the light to see if there are some remains and lip prints and to smell it and it repeated during each meal. Coffee is bad and Coca Cola is without gas. Icecream is good. Juices terrible.
Room: Clean. Not very exclusive but good. Elevators were not operational.
Staff: Very kind at reception and bars but terrible in restaurant.

I booked 2 double rooms for myself and 3 friends staying in June. However, on arrival we were asked if we would like an upgrade to a family apartment so that we could all be together, which was absolutely amazing!! It was just great, big balcony, lots of Greek wine quaffed together in the evenings. We stayed in block 6, which was nice and quiet. The weather was just amazing. We found all the staff at the hotel to be very helpful and accommodating. The guest relations advised us about a lovely place called Notos beach, so we hired a car from Lord Travel and ventured there ... absolutely stunning place ... heaven on earth. I highly recommend this hotel/resort ... ignore the bad comments, we had a great time ... go!!

We booked for this hotel in March and we found exactly what I booked for. We had a seaside and pool view room.
Green point things: the beach (great, with sand), the sea (clean and very good for kids), rooms (large and clean), the whole resort (with a big garden), pools are clean and wonderful designed. We really appreciate the hotel staff, polite and helpful.
Orange point thing (not red): food... not so varied, but we always found something good to eat. Soap in bathrooms is liquid and I didn't like this. And in some nights the ventilators, fans were toooo noisy!
I'm so sorry I did't booked 2 weeks... we surely visit this great hotel again, maybe some things will chage.

Room Tip: Rooms in the garden are quieter, but you don't have great views.

we have just returned from seven days at resort. we had a junior suite in the new block and the room was very good. the food was very average and the size of the resort with one main restaurant makes the dining experience poor, especially with the large numbers of people queuing to get food at the busy times. The drinks especially the wine must be watered down and there are many people queuing for drinks so be patient. It is good for families with children as there is lots to do and the water sports on the beach run by Nikos is awesome, they are very good operators and very safe. It is not quite all inclusive as we had to pay for the safe in the room and you have to pay for the beds on the beach, so we stayed by the pool. My advice would be if you get a good deal at the resort then go. However we paid extra for a day room as we had late check out so we had to move to a standard room. now if we had to stay there my review would be a lot worse as the room was very poor, no proper shower and very run down.
for seven days we had a great family holiday, but we wouldnt return to this resort. it does not seem to be very well run and too many people. overall the food really let it down. but corfu is beautiful and we will definitely return to corfu just not to Aquis Sandy Beach.

Room Tip: if you cant get a junior suite in the new blocks then be careful as lots of people were complaining...

Good seafront location. Resort very big has been extended but really they should have spent the money on doing up existing rooms and facilities that are well past their sell by date. Food was from the main restaurant and buffet style...long queues and a free for all no staff on hand to supervise only to re-stock the food, children left unsupervised dropping food. Floors always had food on them even before breakfast commenced. Plenty of salad but disappointed at lack of Greek cuisine, meat very poor quality usually overcooked and dry and menu quite repetitive. Desert a lot of instant whip textured deserts. All inclusive - drinks spirits very chemical tasting, wine unusual taste not similar to any wine have tasted before - fruit juice was strong tasting squash, fizzy drinks were flat. Water available from machine but only in small cups if you wanted bottled you had to buy them. Ended up buying fresh fruit juice and bottled water from shops and eating out at the local tavernas most evenings which defeated paying for an all inclusive hotel. The gym only a few machines were plugged in not really a gym! The entertainment was very poor and not worth watching. There were 3 different pools Active, relaxation and children's. The children's had the aqua slides but the pool was green and did not look clean so we did not use that one we were told buy our rep that this was an ongoing problem and apparently due to a chemical reaction with sun-tan lotion - which didn't seem to affect the other pools? There was no difference between the other 2 as there were never any organised games as stated in the active pool. The pool area was only cleaned occasionally with plastic cups and ice-cream tubs remaining for days which attracted lots of ants. There were poles sticking up for the sun-umberellas and these were dangerous and we spotted quite a few people trip over these. There were live wires sticking out near the water and the plastic decking was un-even and dangerous in places. All in all a very low quality hotel and not as described in any of the travel brochures or websites. If booking any trips do so from the locals long the sea front not the hotel as same trips but much cheaper. If you are due to stay at this hotel make sure you check that you are in one of the new blocks not block 10 which was the first block we were in which overlooked the back of some shops and apartments and the garden looked like a dump site not very nice to wake up to especially if you caught one of the occupants peeing in the garden!! After 3 nights were were moved to the block nearer the pool which was did not smell but we still had no hot water, phoned didn't work. Walls very thin you could hear the people in the next room and the rooms across the hall using the water, hair-dryer, t.v. and when the flush went also each room had air conditioning but all the units were on the balconies and so were very noisy during the night.
