Let me first say a big thank you to the best ever staff, who helped with everything you asked for, always with a smile and a friendly attitude. Even when they had their work cut out with the biggest thunderstorms I have ever experienced, they would apologise for any inconvenience and move people to other rooms when flooded. The storms really were spectacular to see.
The rooms were huge with two single beds almost the size of doubles. The shower was lovely and hot, the veranda big and spacious and everything as spotlessly clean.
The food was fabulous with so much choice,i put on lots of weight, i think mainly due to the huge slabs of delicious feta cheese and wonderful puddings. The rose wine in the restaurant was good.
The all inclusive drinks were very good, and we enjoyed most of our time at the beach bar, where Spiros and Maria's hospitality was out of this world. Yes they did run out of whiskey and brandy, but only for one night, and was replenished the following day. We were there until the final day of the season Saturday 20th October, and apart from that one day I think Wednesday, we were always able to get our whiskey and lemonade.
The beach is gorgeous, the sea is so crystal clear that we could see our feet through it. It was so warm too.
Yes wasps were a problem, but there are lots of traps around, so hotel is trying to combat this, although perhaps a little more could be done. Also agree lots of flies, but then again we would probably experience the same thing in the UK, if ever our temperatures got up to 29 degrees. We would also get the wasps too.
The village of Agios Georgios is a lovely little traditional greek village with some tavernas, bars and restaurants. There is even a huge bar in the village showing sports and x factor should you not want to miss out on these, and the drink prices are fab. We got a carafe of wine for 5 euros.
Recommend the bus to Corfu for 2.90 euros, or 2.50 if you walk down from the resort to the main road. Also worth doing day trip to Albania. Unfortunately for us it was torrential rain that day, so we didn't get many photos of their pretty countryside.
Would recommend this hotel to everyone. It is by far the best for friendly staff and people around the area, and I have done a lot of all inclusives over the years, so this is above most.
Thank you Aquis Sandy Beach for making our holiday very memorable, and we made so many great friends whilst there.
See you again soon I hope

Room Tip: We had room close to the beach bar and relaxing pool. which also near to restaurant. If you prefer the lively pool or quiet reception bar, ask for room nearer reception, but then you do have to walk a little further for restaurant and beach, but not far

If you like small places this is not for you, there were 6 of us in our group all adults and we were not sure what to expect but we were surprised how good and comfortable the rooms were for Greece,as for the food there is a large choice and in my opion if you can not find anything you like you must be very fussy, evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss but it was getting on for the end of season so that could have been the reason. It can be noisey when people are coming back at night and the cleaners are loud in the morning. If you have any problems with your rooms dont just moan about them report it to reception and it is dealt with very quick ,as 2 of our rooms had bathrooms that flooded when having bath/showers but once they knew about iy it was sorted within the hour

We had possibly one of the best rooms ( last one before the beach overlooking the pool and we did not get flooded when it rained terribly)
The maids changed the beds daily and towels(although very thin after a busy summer and if you dried yourself too quickly they could rip ) but did not clean the rooms everyday
The food was more canteen than restaurant but varied
The drinks were weak and they ran out of brandy and whiskey
The pools were clean and plenty of sunbeds
The beach and the surrounding bars were a bonus as most AI holidays seem to be too far out for my partner to walk
The bus to Corfu town stops outside reception at 10.20 and returns to the hotel at 16.30 enabling you plenty of time to sight see
entertainment was o k A Beatles tribute and An El Divo copy were perhaps the best for us
The staff in the reception were great
all in all an above average time with the best thunder storms I have ever seen : )

Room Tip: Room 6115 is Ideal for the beach

Stayed end of Sept/early Oc 12.
worth a visit. Good food choices that became a little repetitive but always something to be found to enjoy. Drink fine, cocktails briliant. Rooms are a little on the tired side but modernisation is underway. Plenty of beds by both pools. The wasps are a problem. Theres no denying they exist around the two bar area’s and its difficult to sit round the pool and not have a few wasps annoying you. But they are not around in the evening. The entertainment was very good. Apart from the Beatles tribute band. Tv in room and dvd player but not much on TV your can watch except the news in English. But who wants to stay in the room to watch TV?
Clean rooms and bedding. Clean restaurant. You can walk to other areas for food and entertainment if you fancy a change along the sea front.

Room Tip: The rooms very near to the reception area have been updated.
