Yet again, we visited the wonderful malibu restaurant in SGS. Food was tip top as always, Georgios was in fine form and we had a great time again. Our thanks to all the staff who are just superb.

I had hired a quad (from George! very good!!) and heard about this place - so glad as the beach location is stunning but the lunches at Malibu helped me sleep all afternoon on the beach - I had the seafood spaghetti HUGE mistake - you could feed a family of 4 - but it was amazing with the biggest prawns ive ever seen and calamari, mussels shrimps in a tomato sauce - lovely but way too much for lunch.

I learnt my lesson and opted for vine leaves, tzatziki or chips and meatballs from then on - all lovely.

The Malibu has long been recognised as a premier restaurant on the resort, situated (seemingly somewhat-precariously) on the clifftop overlooking Lakiess Beach at the Southern end of the resort, on the route to Santa Barbara. Georgios and his team have for many years now produced cuisine of high quality, not only at night-time but also during the day - it benefits from the relative paucity of outlets at this end of the resort, lying possibly a twenty-minute walk from the main centre (maybe a few minutes longer on a hot Summer night!). The menu is extremely extensive, and the food is more than plentiful - beware the Mixed Grill unless you have a formidable appetite! A stunning vista can be experienced from the cliff-top, especially beautiful being the shimmering of the waves from the beach after nightfall, illimunated by a full moon. Prices are more than reasonable, and the fact that it is generally almost full bears fitting testimony to the popularity of the place. A long walk if you are around the Stamatis end of the resort, but well-worth at least one trip during a fortnight's stay
